From old tasting notes. Draft at Fruit in the Room and multiple other times. Pours a deep golden orange color and topped by a thick layer of off white foam. The aroma shows notes of baked sweet apples, cinnamon and spices, and tropical fruit hop bitterness in the back. Smells just like a baked apple pie. Flavor follows with the sweet apples, cinnamon, and tropical fruits up front followed caramel malt sweetness and ample hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with good carbonation that leads to a nice bitter sweet finish. The apples blended perfectly the tropical hops from the base IPA. Really enjoyed this, tasty stuff.

Pours a reddish brown with a two finger head and crazy lacing. Aroma is hops and apples, maybe a little cinnamon in the back. Taste follows the nose. Apples, cinnamon and hops blend so well together it makes you wonder why this isn’t done more often. Smooth and really easy to drink, I love it!

Sammy (12204) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 5, 2011
On tap at the Double Windsor. Hoppy aromas, with some cider. The taste is both hoppy and some cider, with cinammon and chamomille. Grows on me, hits the spot, unique IPA with decent drinkability. Tart and caramel. Lacey.

beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 13, 2011
On draught at The Good Life. Pours a hazy amber with a moderate-large off-white head that lasted through mid-glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of apple, cinnamon, and some citrus hops. The flavor is caramel apples, cinnamon, and citrus pith leading into a dry finish. The combination of the apple and dryness at the end just didn’t do it for me. A bit lacking in bitterness. A little disappointing.
