Entering old-rates, Fruit in the Room Event. Même revue que sa version originale avec de la pêche en plus, donnant ce profile doux et un peu râper de la peau de pêche. Reste agréable, tangy et tropical avec un beau profile houblonné. Dommage pour l’alcool qui est un peu trop en avant.

Appearance: Slips out of the modestly-sized growler a clouded, orange-hued body with a splotchy, white head. Smell: Aroma smelling of cereal grains, subtle floral accents, sugary-sweet peach nectar, and rippling booze. Taste: Sweet, lightly grainy maltiness with a trace of carefully selected corn kernels. Then, a jolt of peach schnapps. Flutter of pale malted barley. Spicy, earthy hops with a touch of bitterness. Modest peach taste on the back end, as the sweetness and alcohol warmth takes over. Finishes about the same, a bit syrupy. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Bemusing enough for a reasonably-sized glassful, but the pendulum pounding back and forth between the heavy sweetness and alcoholic heat can only be charming for so long.

Pours a murky golden orange. Aroma is sweet peach. Hoppyness. Taste is good peach and sweet malts. Palate is solid. A bit of clamyness. Overall a solid beer

growler courtesy of askdrtodd. nice, like the original, but peachy. a nice experience, not an every day beer, but an improvement on the original.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 26, 2010
Pours up deep gold with white head. The aroma has sweet tropical, OK, peach fruitiness rolling into rich malts and rich graininess as well as a sweet background of creamed corn. The taste is smooth on the palate bringing up notes of modest peach like fruity sweetness and then quickly moving into sweet grainy and malty goodness backed up by a firm smooth layer of sweet creamed corn. Pretty nice treatment that compliments and does not get in the way of the base goodness.

32oz growler, courtesy of wavers1. Thanks, Baker! Pours a slightly hazy, honey-orange color; fine-bubbled, off-white head with patchy lacing. A load of peaches in the aroma: floral, fruity, and intense amounts of peach and apricot fruitiness; clean character underneath, but the fruit character is very sweet and syrupy; pleasant, like fruit cocktail. Medium-full body: lots of fruity sweetness; relaxed carbonation, some heavy viscosity and creaminess; a whole lot of peach and apricot notes, lots of that fluffy, cream-ale character with a reasonably yeast character with some light fruitiness; the peach and apricot syrupy notes are the most present here; very sweet, syrupy, and a bit much altogether; loads of sweetness here, with hints of alcohol and slightly boozy warmth; a load of fruity sweetness here. Solid stuff, but very fruity without much beyond the syrup character. Long, long finish: lots of that cream ale yeast character, peach syrup, and hints of a basic yeast character; balanced, but the syrupy character is a bit much throughout.

Growler, courtesy dchmela. Pours a bright golden orange color topped by a small, foamy tan colored head that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of sweet cereal grains, bready cereal malts, citrus fruits, booze, with hints of fresh peaches. The flavor follows with the tropical fruits, peaches, sweet, bready malts and fresh cereal grains. A touch of oats adds creaminess and smooths things out. Floral hops add a touch of bitterness on the back end. Medium-full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and balanced carbonation that leads to a sugary sweet finish. The peaches were a nice addition to the base beer.
