Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate and toffee notes, lacto berry notes, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2010 From bottle, RBSG08. Pours brown with a creamy off-white head. Dense malty and slight spiced aroma. Fruity and dense malty yet with a light yeasty touch in the flavour. Chriso Gaylord Tasting. Deep orangeish brown colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is funkyness, caramel, some wood as well as spices. Flavour is quite much the same in a nice balance. Quite interesting and rather different brew.

Bottled. Hazy dark brown, small head. Funky brett aroma. Mid sweet with some chocolate and caramel, clean rounded mouthfeel. Funky brett and alcohol are much more prominent than roasty malt. An unusual strong ale. Is the brett even intended?
