Bottles from a few years back at the Brewpub. Pours a deep black thick oil Aroma was coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, sweet milks, and dark fruits. The taste was similar with sweet chocolate, sweet milks, vanilla, and roasted malts. Thick mouth, mild carb. Little too sweet for my tastes. drowland (8955) - Georgia, USA - AUG 7, 2015
2/21/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Black pour with a small tan head. Rich aroma, quite sweet, lactose showing, lots of chocolate, mild caramel and coffee. Rich, sweet flavor, loads of chocolate and lactose, some caramel, light coffee. A little disappointed. Not bad. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 9, 2015
Draft. Opaque brown with a short off-white head. With only a quiet roasted malt note that seems "natural", the nose is dominated by adjuncts, undoubtedly milk sugar, chocolate and coffee, giving the impression of Oreo cookies / Cookies & Cream ice cream. Abusively sweet in the mouth, extremely cloying to the point that it’s difficult to take more than small sips. Texture is creamy and silty, which could be due to yeast but may also be the lactose. Overall it doesn’t smell like stout, it’s one of the sweetest beers I’ve ever tasted, and the adjuncts completely obliterate any underlying malt character, so I don’t get the point. rdixon77 (2943) - Georgia, USA - MAR 21, 2015

Black with a medium sized tan head, some lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and woody. Flavors of dark malts, leather and dark fruit
Lg. shared bottle at RBWG-2015.
Essentially black body with a thin head that reduces to a very durable ring.
Aroma is off, as i confirmed with another taster. The flavor holds up better, but there are some off notes in addition to alcohol esters and dark roasted grains. A bit too sweet as well.

Pours a thick black from the bottle with bubbly brown head that leaves good lace. Aroma of sweet malty sugar, maple and lactose, hint of roast and soy. Taste is all that plus chocolate and vanilla, back end of coffee, wow. So much going on, a bit too much carbonation, but it quiets the burn. Damn, thick and creamy, this is amazing. Super slow gush, maybe a year old. Pours super dark unclear with a huge dark cocoa beige head. Aroma brings clean and sharp sweet roasted malts. Flavor brings sweet roasted coffee (not sugary) on a creamy body with toasted bread for sure on the backend. It is very smooth.
