Beautiful beer on tap at ccbrewpub. Root beer colored foam head, two fingers. Coffee colored and heavy coffee nose. Not as bitter as coffee stouts I’ve ever tried in the past. Fantastic coffee stout! I don’t know what would make this better. Mouth is perfect. Chocolate comes through wonderfully.

Very dark brown pour, nice brown head. The flavor is amazing. On the nose it smells of a huge coffee bomb. But the flavor bring forth a sweet maple syrup note, chocolate and the coffee. Really an awesome beer. AGknights44 (20) - - JUL 25, 2013
flavor: strong complex combination of roasted barley, chocolate malt, coffee, with dark fruit in background; coffee being most prevalent.
aroma: very similar to flavor but stronger fruitiness.
very dark and opaque. mediumlight brown lasting head. medium carbonation... got better as beer warmed and less carbonated. Dedollewaitor (16158) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Bottle @ Milan-PSV warm up. Thanks to Hallinghansen. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is simply just amazing. Freshest and nicest coffee profile and a bit of tobacco. Flavor has coffee, tobacco and chocolate. It is so smooth and silky that it’s impossible to describe. One of the best coffee beers ive had. This is a crazy moment. The sun is setting, looking out the window, waiting for a great soccer match on TV, listening to CV Jørgensen (I det muntre hjørne) and vaguely hearing my newly born son making noises in the next room. Without sounding too clichee-ish - life is good! hallinghansen (3192) - Odense SV, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle @ Champions League night. Dark brown almost black body with a medium light brown head. Aroma is hops, fresh coffee, fresh (pibe) tobacco, milk chocolate, light roasted malt, toffee. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, tobacco, roasted malt, vanilla, toffee, light hops. Smooth and soft. This is really good, no this is awesome.

Another great stout from CCB. Nice thick and dark pour, almost black. Not as dark as MZ but it holds it’s own. Brown head lingers; great appearance. Nose is silimar to Moat Water, lots of coffee, roastiness and chocolate. Nice viscosity, typical of CCB stouts. Loads of coffee and chocolate, malt in the mouth. Superb as usual

750ml bottle. Poured a dark brown with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasty/toasty, and cocoa. Tastes of coffee, caramel, toasty, and chocolate. kcorum10 (347) - Idaho, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Pours a black color with tan head. Aroma of coffee, coffee, and some sugars. Flavors of coffee, coffee, sugar/molasses, and some roast. Loved this beer. icehawk (834) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Bottle, thanks Adam. Pours pitch black with khaki head. Very nice aroma of dark malts, coffee, and cocoa powder. Medium body, with a nice coffee based backbone and a dry cocoa powder finish. Nice clean flavors, and a mouthfeel pushing some borderline floral notes. I love this because it packs the flavors of a much bigger beer into a drinkable package. On draft at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a one finger cappuccino head. Looks creamy. Aroma is earthy bitter coffee, roasted grains, and small hints of bittersweet chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel fades into a massive hit of mocha coffee with a lingering dark chocolate and espresso finish. A nice bitterness to balance. Definite sweet lactose here. Like a lighter version of cafe con leche. Flavor hit me out if nowhere, as the aroma is pretty one dimensional with the coffee. Thick and creamy but not quite as thick as other stouts I have had from CCB. This would go great as a float with vanilla ice cream, as the bitter really balances this out nicely. As usual, CCB hits it out if the park with a sweet stout.
