Draft... Cloudy golden pour with a mid-sized, bubbly, white head. The aroma is a blend of McIntosh acidity, Red Delicious sugar and Belgian yeast spiciness. Full bodied with tingly carbonation. Tab at CCB. By far one of my favorite cider/beer collaboration. Pour hazy yellow. Taste of champagne and green apple. Drink drink. It’s not as sweet as a normal cider, but still have a very small amount of bitterness from the beer on the tip of the tounge. After drinking, a small dryness appear too. Try this if you can! markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2013
On draft at brewpub for Order of the Red Banner Dinner. Pours a deep yellow that does not allow light to escape with a white head. Nose is sweet apples, some spice, some lemon, and some yeast. Flavor is similar with sweet malt, some spice, some lemon, some yeast and big apple cider notes. Medium in body and very nice overall- lingering apple cider and sweet malt in the finish.
