32 oz. growler shared by jcwattsrugger. Pours a dark brown with a thin beige ring of a head. Sweet maple aroma with taste being the same. Thick, syrupy palate with a sweet finish. One dimensional. It is good, but it’s an iota away from being to sweet. Glad to have had it. tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Sample pour at the brewpub. Rich medium brown color with off white light head. Nose is sweet sugary goodness, caramel sweet and molasses with plenty of vanilla... cupcake. Flavor is more caramel sweetness with plenty of vanilla again, not unlike vanilla maduro. Sweet throughout and light in body. Drinkable but a little sweet... Tampa, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Thick murky dark brown pour with a nic bubbly mocha colored head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has some maple frosting accents, a bit of nuttiness. Flavor profile is similar with more of that male candy-like essence, a touch of peanut butter and some rich black potting soil. Thick sticky mouthfeel. As advertised - a good dessert beer - could have been a hot mess - turned out well. olr1984 (1530) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 19, 2014
on tap at huna day pours a dark brown with a light tan head. sweet malt brown sugar and maple taste. great beer. Fritz123 (1597) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2014
Bottle brought to the Sybarite Pig. Thanks Adam! Poured into a small snifter. Little head, very brown and thick. No lacing. The aroma was amazing. It was like cinnamon french toast with butter and maple syrup. Amazing aroma. The taste was too sweet for my usual drinking pleasure but it lived up to its name. Sweet maple syrup, buttery creaminess, cinnamon, nutmeg, and malts. It was great for an extreme beer and glad I tried it. It left my lips sticky. Full body.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Growler. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, nutty. Taste is much of the same, chocolate, nutty, sweet, aftertaste lingers a bit on the palate. Interesting brew. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Growler... Pours lightly hazed and black with a small, creamy, beige head. Decent retention. The aroma is rich, spicy and sweet - more like gingerbread, yellow cake batter and graham than anything else. No maple syrup here. Medium to full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet gingerbread and heavily spiced. Minerals and winter spices in the finish.
