Keg at the brewpub... Deep brown... Thin tan head... Soft sweet berries.. Dark malts... Massive syrup nose... Leighton (21511) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2015
Growler shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours oily black-brown with a frothy tan head. Massively aromatic, with lots of sugary chocolate, some cupcakes I suppose. Medium sweet flavor with notes of cheap coffee, syrupy chocolate, maple syrup. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, more maple and chocolate. Hefty. Growler shared at RBWG ’15 Grand Tasting @ Coppertail, thanks to whomever supplied this one, 21/02/15.
Light black with a moderate tan swirl and edgeing.
Nose is rich maple syrup, peacan, sweet tunes.
Taste comprises maple syrup, chocolate, light spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Decent enough brown if a touch sweet. djd07 (15106) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 12, 2016

Growler... Pours lightly hazed and black with a small, creamy, beige head. Decent retention. The aroma is rich, spicy and sweet - more like gingerbread, yellow cake batter and graham than anything else. No maple syrup here. Medium to full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet gingerbread and heavily spiced. Minerals and winter spices in the finish. 2/21/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Brown pour with a small tan head, mild lacing. Sweet aroma, chocolate, bready. Sweet flavor, tasty though, loads of chocolate, maple popping more in the flavor, bready, some roast and nuts. Thin for the sweetness and flavor profile, but I imagine this is just flavored Maduro basically, right? jackl (8215) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 17, 2016
Sample shared @ RBWG Tampa. Thanks to whoever brought this! Deep brown pour with a tan head. Nose is damn sugary. Cake icing, maple glazed donut. Pecan pie. Makes you reach for the nearest EpiPen. Flavor follows through on the threats of the nose. Quite sweet. Loads of maple nut bar. Cake batter. Light cocoa. Full body, oily. Too sweet to put down by yourself, but OK in small doses. Tampa, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Thick murky dark brown pour with a nic bubbly mocha colored head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has some maple frosting accents, a bit of nuttiness. Flavor profile is similar with more of that male candy-like essence, a touch of peanut butter and some rich black potting soil. Thick sticky mouthfeel. As advertised - a good dessert beer - could have been a hot mess - turned out well. burg326 (5489) - Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2013
Poured a murky brown color with aromas of light cake and tons of maple. Flavors were light cake and a nice maple finish. A solid beer that was a nice surprise.
