Growler at RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is brownie, cream, maple. Medium body with strong brownie, dark chocolate, maple, cream, nice sweetness, really enjoyed this.

burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - NOV 13, 2013
Poured a murky brown color with aromas of light cake and tons of maple. Flavors were light cake and a nice maple finish. A solid beer that was a nice surprise.

Bottle brought to the Sybarite Pig. Thanks Adam! Poured into a small snifter. Little head, very brown and thick. No lacing. The aroma was amazing. It was like cinnamon french toast with butter and maple syrup. Amazing aroma. The taste was too sweet for my usual drinking pleasure but it lived up to its name. Sweet maple syrup, buttery creaminess, cinnamon, nutmeg, and malts. It was great for an extreme beer and glad I tried it. It left my lips sticky. Full body.

Growler shared at RBWG 2015! Pours a deep brown with bubbly white dissipating head. Aroma like a vanilla frosted chocolate cupcake. Taste follows, sweet but very nice.

Pours a muddy brown with a thin off white head. Aroma of maple, malt, brown sugar, taste is loads of maple, brown sugar, molasses. Malty and sweet in a good way. Cool beer

PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Tampa, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Thick murky dark brown pour with a nic bubbly mocha colored head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has some maple frosting accents, a bit of nuttiness. Flavor profile is similar with more of that male candy-like essence, a touch of peanut butter and some rich black potting soil. Thick sticky mouthfeel. As advertised - a good dessert beer - could have been a hot mess - turned out well.

hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Growler... Pours lightly hazed and black with a small, creamy, beige head. Decent retention. The aroma is rich, spicy and sweet - more like gingerbread, yellow cake batter and graham than anything else. No maple syrup here. Medium to full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet gingerbread and heavily spiced. Minerals and winter spices in the finish. Growler courtesy of burg326!

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Growler. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, nutty. Taste is much of the same, chocolate, nutty, sweet, aftertaste lingers a bit on the palate. Interesting brew.

Leighton (21085) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2015
Growler shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Pours oily black-brown with a frothy tan head. Massively aromatic, with lots of sugary chocolate, some cupcakes I suppose. Medium sweet flavor with notes of cheap coffee, syrupy chocolate, maple syrup. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary finish, more maple and chocolate. Hefty.
