Huge thanks to SoLan for hooking me up with one of these from his personal stash. Guys generosity knows no bounds, and Antoine Walker would be proud. Bottle number 96 of 204 bottles. Pours a dark brown color, with a light brown head. Smells of huge rich matl, toffee, caramel, bourbon, and scotch notes. Really dug that nose. Flavors were big on the vanilla and toffee, with the scotch and bourbon notes and alcohol hints really show up in the finish and the heat lingers in the aftertaste. Graha crackers and chocolate cream are also evident. really great blend of flavor and heat. Big and bold, I like it. SoLan for Heisman.
Bottle during RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a cloudy brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast, vanilla, and oak. Medium mouth with brown sugar, caramel, a lot of oxidation but still good. mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 22, 2015
750mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny beige head.
Aroma is very fruity, with red fruits, caramel and cocoa. Flavour is mostly caramel malt, with light notes of smoke, cocoa and dark fruitiness. Not overly complex and sort of watery actually. Probably too old but not oxidized. Decent, though certainly overrated. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2014
750ml Bottle #82/204. Pours murky brown with thin tan head. The nose is sweet bourbon, molasses, brown sugar and vanilla. The taste is much the same. Medium creamy mouthfeel. Nice beer. 4.1 Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 11, 2013
750mL bottle, #202/204. Poured coppery-amber with a smoked beige head. The aroma picked up sweet bourbon and brandy plus nutty malts and vanilla.. warm barrel filled the nose.. loved it! The flavor found tangy oak and bourbon on the tip of the tongue, with sweet chocolate, nutty notes, and lesser toast behind.. sweet boozy notes, vanilla, and nutty malts on the long, warm finish. Medium-plus bodied with low carbonation.. just a tad too sweet, but otherwise delicious! hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle # 120 / 204. Poured a dark brown color with an off white head. Vanilla, caramel, wood, bourbon, earthy, some nuttiness, and dark fruits. Overall alcohol content well hidden.

202/204. Pours deep brown and murky. A light tan head. Aroma is creamy chocolate and deep earthy nuts. Flavor is a sweet chocolate, nuts, brown malts, oak, and bourbon. Easy drinking and creamy. MIBRomeo (2579) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Dark brown pour small tan head soapy bubbles. A touch of cedar and tobacco was my first thought. Huge syrup sweetness lots of brown sugar. Well coated lightly sticky palate. Sweet brown sugars caramel a touch of dry wood in the finish. Very good warm finish great in small doses as the huge sweetness really ads up. jbruner (5287) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle shared at RBWG thanks to drowland! Pours a dark reddish brown with thin off white head and light lacing. Aromas of dark fruits, roasted dark malt, light booze, vanilla, brown sugar, and nuts. Taste follows, like a bourbon barrel aged version of a nut brown, but a hint more booze and dark fruits. This is awesome, can’t believe I was able to try this.
