COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The idea behind this series is to tap into fruit drinks popular in Latin culture. Each entry in the series will feature a different fruit and possible blend of others. First up is Guanabana Ale. We made this beer in collaboration with J Wakefield Brewing. This beer is very light but very drinkable and the guanabana is huge.

Snifter pour of hazed light yellow with full finger white head. Nose is mild fruit, some bananas, and guanabana, whatever that is. Flavor is almost wheaty, grapefruit and bananas, and a light sweetness. Nice and refreshing, as stated in the name. Well done

Interesting beer. On tap at CCB. Pour is pale yellow, really hazy, with a white head. Nose is big guanabana and grapefruit aromas. Some light pineapple and green banana in there, too. Thicker mouthfeel. Tons of tropical fruit tastes. Similar to aromas with more grapefruit and citrus. Nice!

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is big guanabana- I guess- I’ve never had guanabana that I am aware of. I also smell some light leafy herbal notes with some citrus and grapefruit and a banana/ plantain note. Flavor follows with a bit of banana and plantains in the front, some tart character in the mid and a nice tropical fruit, citrus, and grapefruit finish. Light in body, and I agree with gkost how the body is strangely sodalike with lots of tropicality.

Snifter pour at CCB, poures a muddled light peach color with aromas of pineapple, light strawberry, some grapefruit and a touch of fruit juice. Flavors are a mixture of grapefruit and pineapple with a light bitter aftertatse. Interesting beer overall, mostly because this has a juice mouthfeel and not a beer mouthfeel. Kudos for this great beer, would be perfect with breakfast.
