Snifter pour of clear lighter straw yellow with a Christmas snow pure white head. Nose is mild, but comes through with plenty of vanilla and lighter cinnamon. It’s sweeter than I expected I think. I guess I’ve never had real Horchata. Sweet creaminess with smooth vanilla throughout and some cinnamon. More lighter candy flavors... It’s definitely sweet, a little sweet for me to finish... Not that it isn’t good, I’m just diabetic now. 12082015 aracauna (3680) - Georgia, USA - AUG 15, 2015
This is kind of weird. Definitely has the rice pudding (custard style) aroma and flavor of horchata. A little too sweet, though. Acidic fruitiness fits flavors well although not typical for horchata. youdictategood (467) - Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2015
Nitro tap. Deep golden pour with a medium off-white head. Vanilla and baking spice in the aroma. Flavor is the same - super-sweet rice pudding and a small amount of alcohol kick. Thick, silky mouthfeel. A little too sweet for me, but well done. DocJitsu (2035) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2015
Nitro version. It pours like someone forgot the dark roast malt in a Guinness. Medium golden with a snow white head. Looks literally like snow sitting atop a snifter of urine. Silky smooth with a hint of carbonation on the rear of the palate. Smells like a honey cream sickle. Tastes like a honey bun and rice pudding. juiceisloose (1543) - Windermere, Florida, USA - JUL 8, 2015
Draft pour. Pours a hazy golden yellow color and topped by a thin head of off white foam. The nitro pour takes a little time for the body to settle out. The aroma is really nice and smells just like a creamy horchata showing notes of lactose sugar, creamy vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of spice. The flavor follows showing a nice blend of the milk sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla beans. The rice adds some depth and creaminess to the body. The flavor is spot on for a horchata. Nearly full bodied, smooth, and creamy with subtle carbonation that leads to a slightly sweet finish. Drinks much lighter than it feels which is nice because you could crush a few of these. It gets a little sweet, but it is a tasty treat for sure. Really well executed and good stuff.

Clear yellow pour with a huge single finger head. This was on nitro, which explains the head. Aroma of vanilla, milk and cinnamon. Taste is kind of like cream soda. Vanilla and a little cinnamon. The looks are deceiving because it tastes like a stout. Kind of ice cream like. Creamy mouth-feel. Very interesting. Homer321 (5190) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2015
Draft. Nose is vanilla and cinnamon. Light clove. Lightly hazy yellow with a medium white head. Taste is cinnamon and vanilla with a sweet malt backbone. Virtually no bitterness. Hides the alcohol well. Decent gimmicky beer. mansquito (6902) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 22, 2015
Rattle n hum, NYC tap: pours pale gold with little head. Aroma is sugar. Taste is sweet and corny. Not really much to it. Not a big fan. Not gross but who cares. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 19, 2015
Very interesting. Pours a light yellow. The aroma is fantastic, loaded with vanilla and cinnamon. More like a Christmas beer. The flavor was a little too sweet for me loaded with the vanilla and cinnamon. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2015
On nitro at World of Beer UCF. Cigar City Horchata Ale is another hit from the CCB folks. Light yellow pour with an ample creamy head. Aroma is sweet and spicy (cinnamon and maybe nutmeg). Taste is malty and lightly sweet with delicious notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Wonderful mouthfeel -- soft and creamy. Horchata is a tasty one-of-a-kind.
