COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The second beer in the Cervezas Frescas Series, a series that specializes in highlighting refreshing fruit drinks popular in Latin countries. This very unique beer was brewed with copious amounts of rice and lactose sugar and finished off with vanilla beans and cinnamon. The result is a 7% ABV refreshing tasty beverage very reminiscent of the popular drink.

Nitro tap @Proof Production. Hazy, greenish gold, tight bone colored nitro head. Light cinnamon cereal aroma. Tastes like it smells but a bit more milky. Sweet , milky, cinnamon, tangy at times. Medium to slightly heavy body. Spice-bitter finish. Pretty tasty, but a little sticky and I really only needed a half pint.

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head. Nose is some rice, some coconut, some sweetness, and some vanilla and light spice. Flavor is similar with a nice ricey and vanilla sweetness among the milky sweetness. Some mild spices, but nothing overpowering. It tastes like an alcoholic horchata. Medium in body, and especially impressive considering its alcohol content.

Draft. Nose is vanilla and cinnamon. Light clove. Lightly hazy yellow with a medium white head. Taste is cinnamon and vanilla with a sweet malt backbone. Virtually no bitterness. Hides the alcohol well. Decent gimmicky beer.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow on radio worth thin soapy white head that barely laces. Aroma is mild, grainy malt, some spice, lager yeast cleanliness. Taste is more diverse, vanilla sweetness, cinnamon spice, clean rice finish, a hint of booziness. Interesting, didn’t know how it would work, but it does well.

DialSquare (5123) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 20, 2013
On tap at Proof. Murky yellow pour with a thin off-white. Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla. Tastes are a vanilla desert. Not overly sweet though. Was kind of scared of this being too sweet, but it’s a unique sipper.

Pours a golden yellow. Aromas of light cinnamon with hints of hops and malt. Flavor is a milky texture with cinnamon, chocolate notes, like a cold latte.

Draft @ Brewery. Pours a clear golden beer with a thin white head on top. Aroma has massive cinnamon and caramel, touch of sugar. Flavor is very herbal and has lots of spices and cinnamon, really strong presence of both. A bit too strong in the herbs for my liking.

Draft @ Yard House in Orlando. Pours clear dark golden color with white head. Aromas of vanilla and cinnamon with some malt. Cinnamon and vanilla dominate the flavor. Medium body with average carbonation. Weird.

aracauna (3651) - Georgia, USA - AUG 15, 2015
This is kind of weird. Definitely has the rice pudding (custard style) aroma and flavor of horchata. A little too sweet, though. Acidic fruitiness fits flavors well although not typical for horchata.

Flight at the brewery. Clear light yellow body with a small white head. Flowers, perfume, soap, marzipan, lavender, almonds.
