I absolutely loved this beer. Tastes just like horchata with a kick of alcohol. This needs to be on tap in every bar! drowland (8766) - Georgia, USA - JUL 16, 2013
6/26/13. Originally had on tap at Aardwolf (a couple glasses) and have now had it on tap a couple of other places. I’ll admit it - I love this stuff. Some will say it’s too sweet, and I could see that, but it was not a problem for me. Lightly hazed orange amber pour with a small khaki head. Rich, sweet aroma of lactose, rice pudding, tons of vanilla, perfect cinnamon, and more. Rich flavor, on the sweet side, lactose, rice pudding, vanilla, cinnamon, and more. I could drink gallons of this stuff. So. Good. sloshgator (741) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2015
On nitro at World of Beer UCF. Cigar City Horchata Ale is another hit from the CCB folks. Light yellow pour with an ample creamy head. Aroma is sweet and spicy (cinnamon and maybe nutmeg). Taste is malty and lightly sweet with delicious notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Wonderful mouthfeel -- soft and creamy. Horchata is a tasty one-of-a-kind. Stldsf1 (616) - Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2013
Wow. Vanilla and cinnamon are obvious but citrus notes. Banana , pineapple. Very friggin good

Beautiful yellow gold pour with white head. Aroma is musty cinnamon. Taste is cinnamon milk. Incredible.

On nitro. Pours clear gold with a thick white "nitro-esque" head. Aroma is cinnamon & apple pie - getting a little gingerbread too. Imagine those aromas translated into flavor and blended with some biscuit-like malts. Nice. The malts and cinnamon linger in the mid palate and the finish kinda drops off, but the flavor is awesome. Like it. HonusWagner (2168) - Florida, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Extremely creamy mouthfeel, excellent use of lactose in a non-stout style. Sweet with notes of cinnamon but certainly more heavily tilted towards a sort of vanilla syrup character. Good stuff, interesting, a bit too sweet to be sessionable. Way better than the Guanabana CF in my opinion. mikem409 (2027) - bloomfield, Michigan, USA - JUN 8, 2013

Swingtop growler. The pour is a light yellow. The aroma is. Little different, warm cinnamon. The taste is exactly like horchata, very nice. Different, but really good.

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head. Nose is some rice, some coconut, some sweetness, and some vanilla and light spice. Flavor is similar with a nice ricey and vanilla sweetness among the milky sweetness. Some mild spices, but nothing overpowering. It tastes like an alcoholic horchata. Medium in body, and especially impressive considering its alcohol content.
