Bottle @ Steve_0’s house, thanks to markwise for sending. Pours a clear, orangish brown appearance with a thin tan head. Fairly oxidized, caramel, thick toffee, some apple in the nose. Goopy mouth feel. Thick chocolate / toffee hard candy, pear / apple / grape, boozy flavor. Pretty hot finish but still good.

31/XII/13 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - 2011 vintage - BB: n/a (2013-1210) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy dark brown beer, aery beige irregular head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: delicious stuff, caramel, vanilla, sugary, alcohol, dried fruits, very complex, fudge. Love it! MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: there’s cognac all right, pretty sweet, caramel, vanilla, bitter hops, dark chocolate, fudge again. Aftertaste: alcohol, caramel, sugary, bitter hops, sweet, cognac, dark chocolate, more alcohol, little sour note. An amazing beer, love it!
