Tap at Hunahpus Day. Only had to wait 15 minutes to get it! Mahogany brown pour with short lived khaki head. Aroma is cherry fruit and almond extract. Taste is freaking delicious. Maybe the best chocolate flavor I’ve had in a beer. Huge cocoa powder flavor up front with cherry Almond Joy sweetness. Creamy mouthfeel. On draft at Cigar City pours aa black color, aromas of almonds, caramel, light chocolate, and some feint cherries. Pours cola brown with minimal head. Aroma is tootsie roll with a bit of almond. Taste is sweet, with chocolate and a bit of tart cherry.

Chocolate almond cherry scotch ale
Dark brown almost black with no head. Aroma of almonds, cherries and caramel malts. Taste follows, chocolate almonds and an afterthought of cherries. Sweet yet balanced, really nice treatment!

On draft at Cigar City. Pours the typical Big Sound dark caramel brown with an off-white head. Nose is sweet malts, some almond extract, big cherry, and some light Hershey’s syrup. Flavor is similar with the flavors melding together pretty well. Nice selection of complimentary flavors here. Medium in body and some lingering chocolate almond in the finish. Nice treatment, Jason!
