Lots of bitter floral hops up front with a nice sweet citrus fruit presence that blends perfectly with the rye flavor. There is a nice caramel malt backbone that is slightly roasty with a prominent oatmeal presence and a slightly smokey and dry bitter hop finish. The ABV is very well masked and this beer is very quaffable considering it’s complexity. Highly recommended. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Cask @ Proof. Pours ruby red with a creamy off white head. Aroma is pretty ridiculous with cherries, spruce, pine, cinnamon and spice. Flavor is sweet with rye spice. Enjoyed this one a lot. mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 18, 2010

11/18/10. On cask! Huge spice, mostly cinnamon, aroma with a touch of bitterness. Sweet and slightly sour flavor that packs a huge cinnamon punch. So much that it almost dries your mouth out like powder and burns a little like red hots. Glad to have tried it!
