Nice golden color with a small fluffy head. Aroma is great. Floral, sweet, hoppy some citrus. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, herbal and floral with more citrus and belgian yeast. Great balance of flavors and so drinkable. Creamy body and mouthfeel and very smooth. Awesome. kramer (6975) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 25, 2010
Growler, RBWG 2010. Pours a clear copper body with a small wispy white head. Very fruity nose with lots of guava and tropical fruits. Nice Belgian yeast character, it just about outshines the citrusy hops. The flavor showcases tropical fruits, lightly citrusy hops, some light bitterness, and some pleasant yeastiness that really softens the flavor well. Light bodied, rather airy, with soft fizzy carbonation. A very nice easy drinking IPA. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Growler gift courtesy of the amazing askofficerfriendly, thanks Greg! It pours copper with off white head. The aroma is full and rich with orange sherbet smoothie, orange peel, smooth grassiness, some mild spices and tropical fruity sweetness. The taste is the same with a sweet smooth palate bringing up sweet creamy citrus smoothie and sweet tropical fruit. By midway a mild level of bitter citrus and pine hop notes try and get a foot-hold on the flavor. Overall pretty sweet and smooth. I like it. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 16, 2010
growler at RBWG, pours deep gold with a medium off white head. Aroma is strong yeast and sweet candied sugar. Flavor is very sweet, the guava grove blends nice with the IPA but the peppery dry tripel yeast is nice in the finish. juiceisloose (1603) - Windermere, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2010
Growler, courtesy Tampabrew. Pours a cloudy, golden orange color topped by a small, foamy off white colored head that leaves spots of lace behind on the glass. The aroma shows notes of citrus, oranges to go with some tropical notes of banana and guava. Sweet toffee malt makes up the base and the yeast adds some bread and spicy notes. The flavor follows and are much sweeter than the base beer with more tropical fruits of tangerine, banana, and guava with some bready characters from the belgian yeast. The yeast dries things out nicely like a tripel, and keeps the hop bitterness in check. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation that leads to a sweet and slightly dry finish. Definitely an interesting take on an ipa. Tasty brew.

Orange pour with white head and lace. Citrus/orange with light malt. Orange peel, perfume, and citrus hops. Medium bodied fizzy very unusual. Not bad but not? Beerlando (3343) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 23, 2010
Growler, courtesy gunhaver. Pours a mostly clear, dark golden-amber hue with a small head of ivory colored foam. Wet, spotty lacing clings lightly to the glass. The nose shows great influence from the Belgian yeast, incorporating fruity notes of cherry and plum, along with hints of bread. Base notes of tangerine peel and mixed citrus seem subdued a bit by the yeast, while the fresh toffee malt backbone seems drier. Flavors are sweeter than the base beer, notes of berry and peach creeping in and again cutting down on the alpha-acidity of the citrus hops. It is again quite bready and yeasty overall. Medium bodied, with balanced carbonation and a slightly dry, but not chalky mouthfeel. Good brew, but not one of my favorite Jai Alai treatments. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2010

to gunhaver and whoever brought the back up too–1Qt growler– pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is floral, orange, light/medium malt. Taste is floral, orange, light/medium malt, ? Guava? [OK, I’ve now read the description] Finishes with some tingly and yeast.
Growler thanks to gunhaver. Pours yellow- copper with a white head. Nose is yeast, citrus, and noticeable pine hops. Flavor is similar with a a dry tripel-esque flavor and finish from the yeast. Not my favorite CCB, but I like to try new things. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 15, 2010
Thanks Geiger! Copper colored pour, small head. Fruity aroma that is dominated by banana and some spice. Interesting yeasty flavor with banana. Drinkable and good, but one of my least favorite CCB beers to date.
