Poured a dark brown color at the brewery with aromas of light roast, ash and some cocoa. Flavors are light coffee, caramel, roast and some ash. A nice porter overall. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Draft at Proof. Black pour with a small white head. Nose presents powdered cocoa, roasted malts, hints of ash with a hint of coffee. Flavor is similar with a medium body and solid carbonation. Very flavorful considering the low ABV. DialSquare (5030) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 4, 2013

I had this beer at Proof for the Florida Tap Invitational. Great set up and tons of great brews from around the state. Anyway, Common Porter was fantastic. I got a 6oz pour. Nice deep brown color with a tan head that lingered fairly well. Aroma was of caramel and coffee; it made me want to mix it with an iced coffee. Taste was delightful: roasted coffee and malt, deep brown sugar flavor, and a nice hop presence as well. Nice and creamy on the tongue and this porter lingered for a full minute or two. Really great beer!

9/13/13. On tap at the brewery. Deep brown pour, nice tan head with awesome lacing. Light dusty chocolate aroma, ashy, some mild coffee. The flavor is much the same, but with touches of caramel on top of everything. It reminds me of Maduro on steroids. Tasty.

A decent all around porter. Would be nice if they would bottle or can this on a regular basis.

On tap at Coffee District, Delray Beach. Pours a dark deep brown black color with a small head. Nose is malty and toasty with hidden espresso notes. Taste is a bit light, dry with some mild chocolate. Finish is dry, a drinkable descent porter, but nothing special . Quaff Score 7 / 10 Homer321 (5071) - Melboring, Florida, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Coffe and chocolate in the nose. Pours a deep brown. Taste is full if chocolate and medium cocoa chocolate, but not quite dark chocolate. Wonderful. Medium mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. Good stuff.

On tap at World of Beer UCF. Pours black with a brown head and sweet chocolate coffee aroma. Taste is sweet with chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and light smoke with a dry, roasty finish. Very drinkable, tasty porter, more so then the abv suggests markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 14, 2013
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a porter brown with a tan head. Nose is roasted malt, earth, chocolate, ash, and some nice black coffee. Flavor is similar with roast, chocolate, and some black coffee. For a 5.3% stout, this one is simply outstanding.
