Draft pour at CCB. This one pours a deep reddish brown color and topped by a small off white head of foam that settles quickly to a thin film. The aroma is pretty spot on and shows notes of cookie dough ice cream, chocolate, and the toasted caramel malts from the base brown ale. Pretty crazy how the aroma is exactly like cookie dough ice cream. The flavor follows with dry cookie dough, baker’s chocolate, toasted caramel, and sweet malts. Very sweet from the cookie dough and chocolate, but stays fairly dry though. Medium bodied and smooth with balanced carbonation that leads to a dry finish with cookie dough lingering for awhile. Very sweet, but finishes dry to help avoid getting overly cloying. Really nice treatment that I can enjoy in small doses. EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2015

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2014 It tastes exactly like cookie dough. While I’m not sure that makes it a particular level of great, it is certainly impressive. Nose is less great and the taste isn’t something for a pint full but good enough to enjoy. burg326 (5557) - Florida, USA - JAN 27, 2013
On draft at Cigar City poured a dark brown color into a pint glass. Huge aromas of sugar chookies, chocolate, malt, and a touch of nuts. Flavors are light nalt with sugar cookies, light chocolate chips and some malt. A nice treatment of maduro overall. Glad they put this one back on. jcartamdg (3515) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 25, 2013
