Entering old rates. Draft and growler pour at CCB and FBGF, Ybor 2010. Reviewed from notes. Picked up at the Hunahpu’s release.
Pours a moderate orange apricot color with a bit of haze. Two finger white head lasts for a decent period of time. Nose is orange and a bit of tropical fruits. Taste melds together the fruit with a nice feel to bring out the creamsicle comparison. Pretty tasty, but nothig fantastic.

On tap @ CCB. Murky 14 karat pour with a hint of tangerine. Lactose/milky quality definitely present and accompanied by orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, and honey. Medium mouthfeel...haven’t been a big fan of brews like this in the past and was hoping that CCB got it right. They didn’t. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2011
on tap at Rattle N Hum. Poured a hazey orange with a medium white head. Actually enjoyed this one. It was a nice twist on an ipa. Very frinkable and refreshing even with the high alcohol. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JAN 7, 2011
Tap at RnH, One of the few I just wasnt digging. Pours a hazed orange with thin head. Aroma is big butterscotch, diacetyl, movie theater butter, cream, lactose, orange zest, orange juice, and flat orange soda. Flavor is more butter, sweet corn, caramel, honey, simple syrup, orange citrus hops, and actual creamsickle with more slick diacetyl in the end. Blech. Had to give to someone else to finish.

Tap at Rattle N Hum. Deep golden-orange pour with a touch of light haziness. The nose is quite buttery and butterscotchy with loads of orange peel as well. Flavour is sweet and fairly candyish. Butterscotch and a touch of very chewy/sticky character. I can see what they’re going for here, but I don’t really like it. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Grabbed a small growler of this while at Cigar City for the Hunahpu release. Pours a nice golden honey orange with a fluffy tight white head. The aroma is more hops than anything with a subtle sweetness in the nose. I didn’t smell Creamsicle really. The taste was very good although from other reviews I didn’t think it tasted blatantly of orange cream, instead it had a nice balanced hops and malt character. Not overly bitter either as some AIPA’s can be. Mouthfeel was good.

Draft. Orange pour with white head. Orange, cream, some light butter notes, that i could do without. Otherwise a nice spin on a tropical fruit styled hopped up ipa. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2010
Draft at Florida Brewer’s Guild Fest 2010. Enjoyable, but put it next to tropical IPA, and it does not make the cut. Pours yellow copper a miniscule off-white head. Nose is malt, caramel, some pine and citrus with a sugary quality. The taste is similar. There’s a sweetness that tries to come across that seems blunted as it tries to finish. Interesting twist on jai alai, but not what I was expecting from the title. jredmond (8204) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 30, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2010 UNDERRATED.. Draft @ Rattle n Hum. Pours an bright orange body with a white head. Aroma is creamy, citrusy, and vanilla. Oily hops take over with orange peel, vanilla and citrus.
