Copper/gold pour, white head. Aroma is loaded with wheat, crackery notes and nice citrus hops. Flavor is much hoppier than I expected with some wheat/caramel malt notes. Good summer drinker. mcberko (19805) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 2, 2012
750mL bottle, pours a cloudu golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, white wine and orange peel. Flavour of bitter orange peel, citrus, wheat, yeast and slight spice - very dry. More flavourful than your average wheat ale. Solid. DeputyAndy (636) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 19, 2012
Bottle with James, Andrew, and Maggi. Pours a perfectly gold clear. Smell is musty, almost copperish. Taste is smooth but with some vegetable taste. Finishes sticky. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 18, 2012
750ml Bottle: Got in trade from Biggsbowler; THANKS Randall! Aroma of malt, hops, grass, citrus, orange, and a hint of yeast. Poured yellow/amber/gold in color with a medium-sized, creamy, loose, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Very hazy. Sparkling. Very good lacing, Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of slight wheat, malt, orange, citrus, grass, and Noble hops. Medium body. Tingly, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Malt, slight wheat, citrus, hops, grass, finish is lightly sweet, medium bitter, and dry. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - APR 15, 2012

Bottle with Dallas, Maggi, and James and bunch of bros. hay and tart... Wheaty and supple, finishes. Itter cracklefish (108) - Ohio, USA - APR 9, 2012
Draft @ CCB - orange, lots of it. Plenty of bitterness that borders on pithy astringency, yet works well with the tart and doughy wheat. Very easy to drink and has a full flavor even though it has a light mouthfeel. hopscotch (11410) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 7, 2012
Bottle… Hazy golden ale with orange highlights and a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Although the aroma is restrained, I’m able to pull some nice citrusy, grassy and Euro-hop notes from my glass. Light to medium-bodied and ultra-fizzy. The well-balanced flavor presents citric hop bitterness, crunchy wheat malt, smooth bread malt and light clove. Finishes crisp, moderately bitter, and then bone-dry. Cleanly brewed. Since the bouquet doesn’t really come into play for me, I could drink this straight from the bottle at the beach... daily. Pretty nice easy drinker here. Aroma is lightly estery with some lemon and toast. Taste is wheat and citrus with a spicy yeast character. Pretty decent. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - APR 5, 2012
the problem is, wheat ales are kind of delicate in the flavor department, so if you are going to load them up with hops you destroy the flavor. thats the problem here. i can appreciate trying something new by kind of hybridizing an ipa to wheat. but i just dont feel it works. its too peppery and piney. not a fan.
