Brown-black with a tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, bitter chocolate; coffee/espresso, vanilla, burnt fudge develop. Faintly carbonated, mild texture with a light body. Sweet-bitter chocolate/coffee flavours with some light liquorice and herbal impressions. Short-medium lasting finish.

355ml can from trade with Jason. Aroma: strong coffee bean giving some roasty notes, light vanilla on top of the traditional nuts smell. App: really dark brown, medium off white head, great lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, light sweetness, a tad watery, moderate carbonation, nutty, finish is slightly roasted. Overall: great aroma. Love the addition of coffee in this brown ale. On the other hand, it could be tastier. It’s nutty but not much more in mouth. Good mouthfeel. Good job.
