COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The humble gherkin. Usually we encounter this unassuming green fruit pickled or sliced and flung atop a salad. But the cucumber has so much more to offer us. It is a remarkably refreshing gourd with the power to cool a dry tongue and when just two sliced wheels are placed atop the eyes of a lounging lass in a stock photo ad for a spa the mythical cucumber has the magical ability to justify obscene spa service fees. Truly an amazing botanical gift to the world. We chose to employ the cucumber in a low gravity Saison to create a refreshing seasonal ale redolent with notes of honey, tropical fruit, lemon bitterness, and of course cucumbers. Brewed as a survival tool for the Florida Summer this cucumber creation features Citra and Sorachi Ace hops. So put some cucumber wheels on your eyes, lean back, relax and enjoy. Ahhhhhhh.

Know what youre getting into here. Dont drink this beer and then say, MAN IT TASTES JUST LIKE CUCUMBERS GROSS!" The cucumber flavor is strong and a really nice cooling element to the saison. I really enjoyed this beer. Its a bit sweet but it works.

Bottle thanks to Suttree. Thanks! Hazy amber-gold with a big, frothy, whitish head. Aroma of cucumber, citrus, and sweet pale malts. Cucumber dominates the semi-sweet, semi-spicy flavor. Medium bodied, kind of annoyingly fizzy. Decent, but the fizzy is a bit overdone.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy yellow with thick frothy white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong cucumber and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a strong cucumber, citrus, and honey with light finish. Really enjoyed this saison from Cigar City.

Pours a greenish yellow with a big white head. The nose and taste is all cucumber. The saison yeast comes thru nicely and adds a good balance to the beer. A great summer beer, I enjoyed this on a 90 degree day, and it was a perfect refreshing treat.

Wow there is so much cucumber flavor here. Wow this is cool. I really like it, not much of a Saison though

Sampled at Falling Rock in Denver. I was very skeptical. Pours a hazy gold with some cloudy, white head. Smells just like fresh cut cucumbers, fresh fruit, honeydew, lightly herbal. Flavor is like juiced cucumbers, dill, herbs, sweet, earthy. Refreshing, cucumber-y finish. Clearly a gimmick, but also rather refreshing. The wife loved it, so did I a bit...

Bottle thanks to MarkWise. Pours cloudy orange yellow with fluffy white head. Nose/taste of cucumber, sea salt, yeast, lemongrass and light spicy hops. Lighter side of medium body. Lots of cucumber. Well done.

Had this at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest in Denver, Colorado. Way to weird for me, get lotion like scents.

Pours a light gold color. Cucumber is upfront with lightly spiced nose. Lots of cucumber in the flavor with spices and a little dill. Very enjoyable beer that is money with Greek food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Let’s start by saying I hate cucumbers... from notes - Pours a crisp light gold with a light haze. Full two finger white head. Nose is liquid salad, cucumber, dill, light spice. Flavor is cucumber up front, grassy, dill, light malt and white pepper. Crisp. Light smooth body. Definitely enjoyable.
