Shared at an Ann Arbor get together at Jeff’s on July 20. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a nice thick black color with a dark khaki colored head that falls to a film. The aroma is very complex. There is a ton of barrel right up front. A bit of coconut is rolled into a nice coffee. There is a big roasted malt and a dark chocolate. The bourbon and a brandy really offer a good booziness, but it is a little hot. There is a fudginess and a light vanilla. The flavor is a little better. The booziness fades, and lets the fudge, coconut, vanilla, and coconut really pop. There is a light coffee that keeps everything interesting. The mouth feel is thick and heavy with a soft carbonation and a lingering coconut, vanilla and coffee on the back end. There is a light bourbon and brandy finish and a roasty coconut that is really nice. This beer is pretty damn good. There is a lot happening, but it seems to balance itself out. rdixon77 (3120) - Georgia, USA - AUG 3, 2016
Holy moly. Great beer! Decadent and rich. Coconut popped. Plenty of coffee, fudge, oak, a little brandy. Complex and warm. Just an awesome blended BA monster. drowland (9191) - Georgia, USA - JUL 29, 2016
7/29/16. 750mL bottle. Thanks, as always, to markwise, for being my trustee! Viscous black pour under a nice tan head. Rich aroma, black patent all over, ashy, rich, loads of barrel, dark chocolate, hints of coffee and coconut. The flavor is awesome - coconut and coffee abound, lots of barrel in a good way, sweet brandy and bourbon, vanilla, more. Delish!! djd07 (16443) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2016
Bottle thanks to Will. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong coconut, roast, dark chocolate, wood, bourbon. Thick body, chewy, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, boozy finish, really enjoyed this. HonusWagner (2250) - Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2016
A really sweet and viscous stout with strong brandy barrel character, coffee, and vanilla. Not a ton of coconut but it’s there. A good beer but the base isn’t of the same quality as something like Hunah.

Bottle from Catador Club. Pours black with a ring of tan head. Aroma is coffee, coconut. Tons of barrel. Taste is a shit ton of the same. Initially Jesus juice. Gets boozy and it progresses and I drink more. Seems backwards but wtf do I know. It’s good. Really good. But not unreal like I first thought.
Good job cigar city. You rock. Sometimes. ctipping (2299) - Florida, USA - JUL 11, 2016
750 mL bottle. Inky black and glass-staining. Smells really nutty. Chocolate and booze. Bourbon. Not really coconut. Tastes like mostly Outskirts, which I didn’t love. Heavy roasted malt and molasses. Very sweet. I get a lot more coconut, but it isn’t a coconut bomb as the label describes. Nutty and oaky finish. Heavy. Boozy. Tough to drink. I am missing the hype here. 50belair (3718) - Florida, USA - JUL 11, 2016
Bottle. Dark brown pour with a kaki head. Wow, úber sweet with dark roasted malts, chocolate, oak, vanilla, bourbon, and fading coconut notes. Good body and mouthfeel. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2016

Bottle. Nose is light vanilla, Munich malt thing going on, crackery. Not much coffee. Pitch black, dark brown head. Taste is a ton of coconut. Lots of fudge. Modest vanilla. Not much warming. Really tasty. Full mouthfeel, creamy.
