Bottle thanks to Will. Pours black with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong coconut, roast, dark chocolate, wood, bourbon. Thick body, chewy, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, boozy finish, really enjoyed this. hopscotch (11526) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 2, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2018 Bottle... Pours nearly black with a small, fleeting, khaki head. The aroma is a mélange of fudge, vanilla and bourbon. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and Key West carbonation. The flavor is a bigtime mocha bomb – baking chocolate and espresso Cubano – with a healthy splash of liquor. Roasty, acrid, lightly salty finish. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian! drowland (9197) - Georgia, USA - JUL 29, 2016
7/29/16. 750mL bottle. Thanks, as always, to markwise, for being my trustee! Viscous black pour under a nice tan head. Rich aroma, black patent all over, ashy, rich, loads of barrel, dark chocolate, hints of coffee and coconut. The flavor is awesome - coconut and coffee abound, lots of barrel in a good way, sweet brandy and bourbon, vanilla, more. Delish!! Ibrew2or3 (9047) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 2, 2018
750mL bottle pours with a deep dark void of a body that supports a two minute long dark brown head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts, malty sweet heavy cream, cocoa nibs, booze and then boozy barrel bourbon brandy notes nuanced with molasses. The taste delivers smooth slick rich malts, reduced sugars like molasses and chocolate flowing into sweetened dark roasted coffee. Oh. Nectar rich sipper. To midway the barrel notes come through with brandy taking a lead over the bourbon. It gets a little creamy and faintly lactose like toward the finish. This comes together nicely. Awesome sipper. vtafro (7453) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUL 8, 2016

Bottle. Nose is light vanilla, Munich malt thing going on, crackery. Not much coffee. Pitch black, dark brown head. Taste is a ton of coconut. Lots of fudge. Modest vanilla. Not much warming. Really tasty. Full mouthfeel, creamy. markextrae (4712) - Alingsås, SWEDEN, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle shared with a friend. Poured a deep pitch black colour with a dark tanned head that doesn’t last to long. Aroma is strong Apple brandy barrel upfront, Some sweetness of bourbon, dark coffee, a light roastiness, small amount of coffe, sweet chocolate, vanilla Cream, a light charred coconut notice but not as much as i hoped it would be.taste has a bit more coconut compared to the nose, again big brandy notes, caramelised sweet apples, deep dark chocolate, the bourbon adds a extra sweetness to it. Bit heavy on the barrel, but not overpowered for me. Big sticky and smooth full bodied mouthfeel. Another world class stout from CCB koleminer20 (4374) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 9, 2016
Shared at an Ann Arbor get together at Jeff’s on July 20. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a nice thick black color with a dark khaki colored head that falls to a film. The aroma is very complex. There is a ton of barrel right up front. A bit of coconut is rolled into a nice coffee. There is a big roasted malt and a dark chocolate. The bourbon and a brandy really offer a good booziness, but it is a little hot. There is a fudginess and a light vanilla. The flavor is a little better. The booziness fades, and lets the fudge, coconut, vanilla, and coconut really pop. There is a light coffee that keeps everything interesting. The mouth feel is thick and heavy with a soft carbonation and a lingering coconut, vanilla and coffee on the back end. There is a light bourbon and brandy finish and a roasty coconut that is really nice. This beer is pretty damn good. There is a lot happening, but it seems to balance itself out.
