Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart wood, some vinegar, mild toffee, berries and bretty notes. Flavour is fruity, mild spicyness, some slight farmyardy dustyness, yeast and quite nice maltyess. Hides the abv rather well.
Bottle courtesy of the CCB crew, thanks! I tried all three of these saisons in succession, and this was my favorite. Much more subtle nose compared to its cedar cousin, with a more mellow barnyard and malty taste. Nice. madmitch76 (26413) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2013
