3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Once the top was popped, this beer was ridiculously ready to leave the bottle! Exploded out like a champagne.
I would say it is one of the more complex beers I have tried in some time. Not unlike Fish Tale Leviathan...which I considered one of the more complex beers I had ever tried back in the day...this one gave me pause. I kept having to take sip to figure out exactly what I was drinking.
A strange bitterness. A thick, silky, somewhat slick texture. Citrusy, medicinal, spicy characteristics. Pale, golden and cloudy appearance. Some floaties. Carbonation faded fast.
Was very interesting!

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy pale golden, nose is peppery, grapefruit, taste is very tart and sweet. DrSilverworm (9672) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 21, 2014
750ml bottle, shared by Ferris. Yeah, it foamed explosively when Ferris opened it. Ruined his outfit, but we were able to get decent pours still. Totally hazy orange color. Thin bubbly white head, no lace sticks. Pretty nice light spicy grapefruity woody nose. Bright and floral nose. Medium to bigger body. Kind of flat. Light soft texture to it, more dry finish. Moderate sweet, light tart finish. Not bad, overall. Kind of strange. Interesting stuff for sure, though. Ferris (16521) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle - Absolute gusher that exploded all over me and left less than 12oz. Funky citrus and peach with a ton perfume. Cloudy orange with a bubbly head. Apricot, aspirin, light bitterness and a tartness in the finish. Mandarin on the tongue after. kbudd19 (1022) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle big gusher that exploded all over Ferris. Cloudy yellow pour, lots of white head in the bottles. Aroma, lots of citrus, some funk, and some subtle sweetness. Taste, light citrus, some floral, sharp dry finish. Interesting beer.

Hazy orange of color with a white head. An aroma of lemon, spice, sweets, dry, perfume, corianders and some brett. A flavor of lemon, sweets, spice, perfume and a dry finish. ICEatALAMO (1353) - Troy, Michigan, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Bottle.....gusher! The aroma has a lot of citrus for sure. The taste is solid, wish 3/4 of the bottle didn't gush. Light and airy.

Bottle. Gusher. Hazy golden color with a white head. Dry wood, spice, and grapefruit in the aroma. Taste is dry spice and wood with citrus. Relatively dry mouthfeel. But for the loss of most of the bottle through gushing it was a decent beer. mR_fr0g (13511) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle at home. Huge gusher! Even after after it had been stood still and chilled for ages. Hazed orange colour with a fine lasting white head. Aroma is effervescent orange blossom, and some Brett c pineapple and nice saison yeast character. Flavour is very sweet orange marmalade, carbonation, yeast. Too sweet for a saison. Palate is fine and effervescent. EricTeusink (702) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Gusher. Lost half the 750ml upon opening. What remained was tasty. Astringent lemony scent. Color is a barely hazy yellow with big white head. Earthy and light citrusy flavor. As above, very, very bubbly. Hot on the tongue. Bottle - The Porter Beer Bar - Atlanta, Georgia
