Bottle. Pours burnt orange with just a shade of haze. Aroma reminds me of oak aged Jai Alai. Medium carbonation supports peach white head that lingers. It's has an odd sweet tang after hop bitterness. It could be that this is too old.

Bottle shared by Eddy. Pours cloudy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of cedar, citrus, and pine. Sweet caramel malt flavor with some spiciness from the cedar, pine from the spruce tips, and some grapefruit. Medium body with average carbonation. tmoreau (4365) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 10, 2014
Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, displaying a cloudy, orangey amber color, with some bubbly, soft white head foam, and spots of lacing. The nose produced some dankness, then stone fruit & citrus, with some hints of resin & cedar. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste began with a nice malt intro, and some sweetness, expressed more cedar than the aroma, and presented a very lingering, citrusy, earthy, and rind-like bitterness. Alcohol was more warming than boozy. The cedar played well with the esters. A well rounded DIPA. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 26, 2014

Murky hay-tea, thin white ring oily cap. Tea and playdoh nose, heavy sugar, paper. Lightly bitter brown sugar front, caramel and gritty mid, sticky and thickly sweet.
From a 75 cl bottle at the DC Pre-Turkey Day tasting on Nov 9, 2014. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Arom of pine resin. Flavors of pepper and citrus. Bitter finish. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Bottle shared at the DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks to GenDV138! Poured a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of pine, citrus notes. Flavor was nice resin notes, some woody notes, pine and juicy citrus hops. Pretty tasty and refreshing, even with this crazy abv. One2remeber (247) - Bucktown, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2014
Pine-sol, lemon, fresh grass, strong bready malt, dominant cedar.
Malt and cedar flavors shine while an oily, resiny hop aftertaste lingers. Nice transitions in flavors, complex and balanced. Alcohol warmth is apparent as it warms but suits the Imperial style. solidfunk (8949) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - NOV 10, 2014
I really like this one. Golden amber pour. Bitter finish. Average carbonation. Huge pine and citrus aroma with good underlying malt backbone. Bottle shared by GenDV138. BeerandBlues2 (13307) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 9, 2014
