The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Floridas Palmetto Prairies. Called Ququeros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nations oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

One of the best wit beers i ever had, without being a typical one. Nice sharp aromas with a twist of sourness in taste. Very nice beer.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7619) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright yellow color with a huge creamy-fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish cracker, pepper, lemon, coriander and dust. The flavor was tart lemon, pepper, dust, cracker and had a sour and astringent presence. Long sour lemon finish. Medium body. Ok.

Can at Swan and Dolphin, Orlando, 11th November 14. Not bad for the style, lots of flavour and was refreshing, did not get too much coriander

Nice creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish grainy, weeds, wheat, wet grass, almonds, citrus peel, hay, spices, flowers. Taste is slightly dry grainy, wheat, hay, yeast, weeds, paper, cereal, almond essence, flowers, spices. Little bitterness, watery and slightly harsh mouthfeel. So boring!

Can, shared with BBGTC. Pours a hazy blonde body with a small white head. Nose is citrus, wheat, coriander, soapy herbs and hints of straw. Taste is citrus, soapy herbs, coriander, wheat and hints of straw and bread dough. Medium body and carbonation. Fair enough, but no winner.

Can. Citrus and spiced yeasty aroma. Refreshing with a dry finish. Clean and easy. The orange peel really shows up too. Perfect poolside in Florida. Very enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smells like Hoegaarden with a piece of burnt toast that fell in it. Very strong smell. It was gross at first, but it gets better. More opaque than Hoegaarden. Tastes like Hoegaarden with a piece of burnt toast in it. But it gets better. Very good. Very thick and nice. An "elevated" Hoegaarden.

Pours cloudy yellow with a small amount of white head and a bit of yeast slurry. The nose is pungent citrus with the orange peel dominating with some other lighter esters. Flavor is very smooth and sweet. again the orange flavors are dominant but there is also a very subtle doughy texture present.

Slightly cloudy deep yellow. Nose of light coriander, wheat, fruity yeast aromas. Wheat, light spice, and yeast driven finish. Definitely leans more towards what I would like of as a French yeast than belgian. Ok for a hot day, but alas it aint hot.
