COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Cracker Cowboys of Florida were colonial-era settlers, often of Scots-Irish descent, who arrived in Florida when Spain traded their territory of La Florida to the English. The term Cracker in Florida usage relates to the whip these "cow hunters" used to herd cattle in Floridas Palmetto Prairies. Called Ququeros by the Spanish, these hardy and hard working Cracker Cowboys helped to shape the history of Florida, the nations oldest cattle raising state. We brew Florida Cracker White ale with unmalted wheat, orange peel and coriander and then ferment it with a French Saison yeast strain to give it a spicy and dry finish. Perfect for a warm day on the Palmetto Prairie.

Aroma has a nice zest and spice that is light and refreshing. Pours with a large white head and a slightly opaque orange yellow body. Taste is zesty and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. Palate is slightly thin, but too thick might make it a but off.

12 oz. canned Jun 13/2016. Orange-gold pour with a film of bubbles. Nose is orange peel, resin and bubblegum, with just a hint of coriander and toast. Tastes of orange juice, resin, bubblegum and a bit of coriander in the finish. Light-plus body has smooth medium carbonation and a bit too much orange peel for my tastes in a Wit.

An excellent white. All it needs is more alcohol. Smooth with a tad bite and a bit of sweet from the coriander. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smell a lot of spice notes. Slightly cloudy yellow in color. Taste is nice, spices really come out. Medium body nice crisp carbonation. Love the spice notes on this brew.

Can from my father (bought in Florida, possibly at the brewery). Light spicy and fruity smell. Similar taste. A bit sweet. Light body. Very refreshing.

Draft. Pours a hazy straw yellow beer with a small white head on top. Aroma of lemon, light herbs, coriander and some cheesy notes. Flavor is very fresh, citrussy, lemon, hint of fresh white grapes. Very nice for the style, one of the better examples Ive had in a while. Gently carbonated, short bittersweet finish.

Laranja claro de mdia turbidez, esouma branca de mdia formao e pouca persistncia. Aroma citrico alaranjado, malte aparente, mdia intensidade e boa persistncia. Paladar de leve acidez e amargor, dulor inicia discreto e cresce com aumento da temperatura. Corpo leve e mdia carbonatao. Final de leve persistncia, a laranja mantm o frescor e persistncia durante todo o tempo. Refrescante.

Florida Cracker has a thick, spongy, white head, a hazy, yellow-gold appearance, some bubbles, and pretty substantial lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of very low level coriander spice, with white wheat bread. Taste is similarly dull & flaccid, with maybe, perhaps, a hint of citrus rind. There is the spice or white pepper thing, though. Tap water is picked up. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Cigar Citys Florida Cracker finishes medium wet and dull. RJT
