750 ml bottle courtesy of MikeLuke23. Thanks Mike. Pours a clear copper with a three finger white head that has good retention and leaves very little lacing on the glass. The aroma is big guava, a bit of funk as well as a little bit of grassiness and little pepper. The initial taste is big guava with a bit of sweetness. Then comes some light funk, pepper, and a slight grassiness. The finish is relatively dry with the guava lingering. Medium body. Heavy carbonation. A bit overcarbonated. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 23, 2011
75cl bottle, thanks Travlr. Cloudy amber body, medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, guava. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit, guava. Medium body, light resin. Seems more like an IPA (or IIPA) than a Saison. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 22, 2011

Bottle, courtesy Travlr. Weird drinking Florida beer via a non-Floridian, but there is a first time for everything: Pour is hazy orange/gold with a nice white head. Decent retention/lacing. Aroma is guava, floral/citrus hops, fruity esters, grain. Taste is guava, grapefruit, pineapple, cereal, dry finish. Palate is clean, dry, oily, long fruity finish. I prefer the original. UPDATED: OCT 23, 2011 Bottle from the source, courtesy of....me! Thanks. Cloudy light amber, large off white head. Aroma of slightly fetid grapefruit, white pepper. Taste is bitter fruit and pineapple core. Abrasive but interesting. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - OCT 16, 2011
750 ml bottle shared from Ben. Thanks! Pours a murky golden dulled hue, touches of amber, well hazed with a frothy offwhite head that dies to a decent film. Aromas are guava fruit, a touch tart, juicy with dry bready malts, touches of yeast, light dry florals and grass. A touch floral and juicy. But simple, with some hay and grass, light and mellow. Initial is a smack of guava, mellow fruit, into dry yeast and bread, juicy guava, a touch sweet and tart. Some mellow yeast, touch of dry yeast, and some light sun tan lotion, florals. Interesting, a bit bland and forgettable finish. A more juicy front, moving into a dry bready malt finish. A bit vibrant up front tailing into a forgettable finish. Meh. Compared to the original it just isn’t worth it.. But it’s drinkable and certainly not bad. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Bottle shared by Adam, thanks! Pours a hazy orange gold with a light tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of guava that was dominate and backed by a bit of flora and light grains. Flavor has a really nice guava note that grows with out much else but a bit of backing flora.
