UPDATED: AUG 7, 2009 Tap at datz. Pours a hazy orange brown with a small offwhite head. This beer is neat. Aroma lemon, some funk, pleasant tartness, tropical fruit. A good , interesting beer. Nice work thill25 (232) - Orlando, Florida, USA - AUG 2, 2009
On tap at House of Beer...pours hazy, light brown with an orange tint. Generous off-white head that provides some streaky lacing...Nose of sour citrus, funky yeast, peaches, and apricots. The flavors are well balanced mix of sour fruits, cellar funk, and sweet malts. Very dry, moderate carbonation, and a puckering, tart finish. Very nice brew... Bottle. Poured cloudy brownish orange with a a creamy head. Aroma is tart citrus and spice, a little like some of the LA sours. Taste is acetic with citrus, light funk, spice, yeast. Finish is tart. Overall, a nice brew that’s kind of a mix between a sour, saison, & fruit. Pretty nice. djtimeless (222) - Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Pours out murky gold with lots of foam. Taste is fruity and spicey. Lots of citrus fruits and guava. Nice spice with just a little funk. Smooth and refreshing. Good stuff. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2009
25.4 oz bottle. Murky orange with some creamy white haze. Nose is yeast with hints of guava and vinegar. Medium light with a mild sparkle. Taste is guava, lemon-lime and dough. Tart and refreshing finish. I didn’t get as much guava as in the cedar IPA as it seemed to get canceled out by the sour citrus flavors.

an interesting combination with fruity and bitterness. the taste gives a guava with a slight tartness at the end. full and fizzy. nick76 (4402) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 29, 2009
The aroma is yeasty, malty, and fruity (guava). The appearance is Hazy gold-copper with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma with an odd but interesting finish that reminds me of wood. The palate is average for the style. Overall it’s interesting and I would drink again. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 26, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 29, 2010 750 mL into tulips (shared). Found this at Dorn’s Wine and Liqour in Gainesville. Pours a hazy gold with a two-finger white head that settles down and leaves little to no lacing. Aroma is sour apples, Brett, apple cider vinegar, sour peaches, white wine. Overall smells like a Flemish red. Taste is similar but sourness overwhelms the guava puree, Brett, spices, and other complexities. Watery to acidic on the palate. Very chardonnay like. 7/26/2009 8/3/7/4/14=3.6Suttree (6484) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 26, 2009
750mL courtesy of Dstructo. Poured a hazy deep gold with a decent white head. Excellent spicy Brett, drying grapefruit rind, farmhouse notes. Wow this St. Somewhere yeast is insane. The body is dry, fully attenuated, spicy oak, grapefruit rind, orange peel, perfume oils abound. Excellent all around. Really this beer is developing quite nicely. 8/29/2010 8/3/8/5/15=3.9
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2009 Cloudy orange, vigorus carbonation, thick white head. Very fruity -banana, mango and tangerine - I assume that’s the guava - plus some winey notes. First sip is a nice mix of fruity and traditional saison flavors, very citrusy. As it warms. the citrusy fruity flavors become more dominate - more tangerine and mango, with whte mine and some dusty, flinty, funky notes in the background. Very nice stuff. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2009
Draft at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL) tasting event. Pours a cloudy orange color with a small head. The guava is immediately noticeable in the aroma and flavor on top of the yeast notes. Very interesting and unique combination. There is a neat transition from sweet into a sour/tart finish.
