Pours dark orange with a large white head. Smells of citrus and hints of toffee and caramel. Taste is juicy, bitter, and citrusy. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Cigar City Dry-Hopped on the High Seas finishes with a soft lingering bitterness. mverity (294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 16, 2013
Can from Proof Bottle Shop. I had this beer directly from the can while a t the pool earlier today. Aroma was sweeter than Jai Alai in the way of more mango and pineapple. Aroma was also a touch of pine and earthy grassiness. Taste was sweet tropical fruits, only slightly bitter hops, and lightly roasted malt. Well carbonated and good body to this beer. I should have bought the full 6 pack. boricuastyle (2) - Ponce, PUERTO RICO - DEC 24, 2013 does not count
Exellent choice of ingredients, great overall hop mix, malt, yeast, color & kick. Love the simcoe drpimento (3570) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Very good beer and another one from these guys I wish we could get around here. Poured slightly warm with a large, cream-colored, thick, & fast settling to a sudsy thin cover with lots of clingy lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber with a few bubble trails. Aroma is an earthy hop, malt, resin. Taste is fantastic- a perfect blend of bitter and sweet, with just enough tang. Body is great, carbonation a touch soft. Finish is like flavor, stays true all the way thru to an an average tapering end. Super drinkable beer! k0mpsa (2911) - Tuusula, FINLAND - DEC 28, 2013
Tap at ccb, tampa. Almost clear light golden color, white head. Aroma is fruits and very fresh hops, flower. Nice fresh hoppy kick, malty body, leafs.

Had this one out of the can. Pours an amber color with a nice fluffy head. This leaves a sticky lacing as you drink it. The use of dry hopping leaves a great floral flavor that is very enjoyable. This beer is well balanced and as usual, Cigar City produced another world class beer. koleminer20 (3463) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - FEB 25, 2014
12 oz can poured into a pint. The pour is a nice light coppery gold color with a decent, quick fading white head and some gorgeous lacing. The aroma is big on citrus and hops. There is a touch of sweetness and a little bit of pine on the back end. The flavor is just as good. It's got a good boom of bitterness on the front. And then the blast of hops and citrus. The mouth feel is a little thin, but it coats the mouth beautifully. The aftertaste also lingers and lingers with a bitter hoppiness that I love. This is a solid IPA!

Jai Alai on steroids. Much more bitter (west coast) and with some lemon notes. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2013

Canned 12 days ago. This beer fucken LIFTS. pours a clear honey color with a large white head that lasts a while, giving you low carb in the beer once it settles. Aromas of urine. Taste is bitter upfront, supported by a huge malty backbone. Finishes semi-dry with a lingering cat piss bitterness. Very comparable to weyerbacher double simcoe. #partyin
