Handbottled, courtesy of MadsBerg. Pours clear and golden deep amber/redish and with a small tan head. Aroma is spiced and roasted malty. Phenolic, roasted malty, spiced and lingering dark malty into the finish. Light bitterness and mild spiced finish. Ungstrup (37598) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2009
Handbottled. A slightly hazy deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has strong notes of cedar wood as well as medium notes of caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cedar wood and medium notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry woody - cedar like finish. The body is light. Thanks a lot MadsBerg for sharing. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2009
Hand bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a clear orangey brown with a small, rough off-white head. Very spicy sweet chili-like aroma - again must be the cedar. Medium body, sweet caramel and nuts, a little low in carbonation. Again dominated by these amazingly interesting and exotic cedar accents. Some alcohol burn in the finsh. 161209 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 9, 2012

Hazy red - brown beer. Low carbonation. Surprising nose of fresh raspberry which carries over to the taste but only in the undertone. The taste on top is mild dark malt and strong spicy cedar with a distinct smoky note. Some nuts buried in here as well. The most cedar dominant beer I’ve had. So far!
Pours a murky brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, anise, caramel, and raisins. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, cedar, caramel, nuts, and raisins.

Handbottled. Thx to lbrew2or3. Reddish coloured. Dense brown head. ARoma of sweetness and berries. Bread, spice and caramel. Flaovur of berries, spice, caramel, light roast and cocoa. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a light roasted and cocoaish bitterness. Nice. hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2009
Growler… October ‘09 O-Town Throwdown!… Hazy, dark, caramel-colored ale with a small, frothy, beige head. The aroma is a malty, spicy blitz of caramel, mocha, tobacco and toasted nuts with more than insubstantial rumors of white and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied with modest carbonation. The flavor is malty and is mainly a reflection of the nose, but presents more of a bitter component than untreated Bolita. Possibly some of the residual sugar was filched by the cedar, but the tradeoff is welcomed as peppery essences resound in this version. The finish is moderately bitter, lightly tannic and then dry. Thanks to cmillward for sharing the growler! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 16, 2009
Growler. Brown pour with a big cedar and coffee aroma. Flavor continues with roated malt, cedar wood and coffee. This beer has a nice mouthfeel as do most CCB offerings.
