Handbottled, courtesy of MadsBerg. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is dry and citrusy to pinewood hoppy, light spiced touch. Sweet malty, caramelish and light spiced dryness. Lingering sweet and hoppy into the far finish.

Solid IPA. Average, typical IPA appearance. Aroma is strong and hoppy, while the flavor too is strong - yet not overpowering. A nice, bitter, lingering hop aftertaste. Good beer.

(DC Local Gathering, "growler," thanks ygtbsm94) Medium off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, catty, guava, kiwi. Taste is moderately sweet, guava, catty, some pineapple/grapefruit. Medium body, some resin, light acidity. Nicely drinkable, alcohol well hidden.

Growler… Cloudy burnt-orange ale with a small, bubbly, white head. Earthy, woody, tropical nose offers cedar, peppery/piney/citrusy hops and Guava, which I love. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Earthy, woody, bitter flavor that also provides a fruity tartness and sweetness not found in any other IPA I remember tasting. Finishes up with a bitch-slap of piney bitterness followed by kisses of Guava and toffee. Unique and brilliant. I’m loving these CCB blends.

Tap at berwery. Hell yeah. They did it again!! Orangish color. Aroma of citrus hops, caramel, and the guava is just noticeable along with the wonderful toasty cedar. Flavor is really nice. Good and malty but has a nice hop bite and the notes of the cedar and guava meld together perfectly. Another great CCB! Thanks Joey and Wayne.

’09 notes. growler courtesy of tpd975. Thanks Greg for keeping this one while I was in Europe. Pours hazy orange, white head, with good head retention and frothy lacing. Aroma, good guava nose, with the cedar wood coming across along with fresh hops/pine aromas. Taste, guava is present followed by the cedar that has been the stamp of the Humidor series. Cedar remains high on the profile. Profile starts cedar, followed by some fruit tartness, hops and citrus/grapefruit like palate to finish. Leaves a subtle spicy mouthfeel
