Bottle 75cl. A clear dark amber colour with an average high, off-white head. An aroma of roasted malt, caramel and pepper. The taste is really sweet and medium bitter. A medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation and a long finish. horto008 (188) - Alabama, USA - AUG 28, 2011
12oz bottle. absolutely love it. smokey with a raisen, toffee, and chocolate finish. slightly thin but the flavors are still intense. very balanced with just enough bitterness to cut through the underlying sweetness. despite doubting the beer/cigar pairing in the marketing, i can absolutely see how a good maduro and this beer would be awesome together. very very good stuff. glad to have it in 12oz until such time my fair state allows the 24oz’ers. sebletitje (10285) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 23, 2011
Re-entering older ratings.
Sympa à boire, mais un verre me suffit. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2011
Have had this twice now I believe. A nice easy drinking brown ale. On the malty side which I like, a touch of roasted malt bitterness to balance it out. Nice full body. 48FanInCali (851) - California, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Poured from a 12oz bottle. Color is a cloudy brown with a I finger head. Nose is malt, cedar, toffee, and spices. This brown ale has a real nice aroma. Taste was sweet and followed the nose for the most part. This is a real tasty everyday kind of brown and one of the in this style that I have had.

33 cL bottle, in a Flensburger bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild wineous, wooden and slight chemical. Dry malty, light fruity and phenolic. Ends dry and fruity. Dark malty. Ungstrup (38245) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 15, 2011
Entered to celebrate my rating number 20,200. Handbottled. An unclear red-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of cedar wood, spices, bread, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, roasted malt, pepper, cedar wood, caramel, and brettanomyces, leading to a dry, roasted, and cedar finish.
