On tap at the tasting room. I had high hopes for this one after liking the smoked habanero. However, this tasted like I sloshed around some of the ashes from my backyard smoker. WAY TOO MUCH smoke. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Draft at brewery. Amber pour with a bubbly white head. Smoky, cedary light toasted malt nose. Flavor is pretty similar smoke and wood that isn't overbearing. Damn tasty. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Poured a light amber color at the brewery, aromas of ligt cedar, smoke, and some malt. Reminded me of an open humidor that was open for too long. Flavors are light smoke and spicy cedar. While I didnot like the regular smoked version of this, the cedar added to this made it 100 times better. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2013
On draft at Cigar City. Pours a nice clear amber color with a white head. Nose is some smoke, some light earth, roast, smoke, band aid, and light meat (I can see where the bacon smell comes from). Flavor is similar with some nice malt behind it, light wood, light earth, meat, and band aid. Very nice and well-balanced twist on this lager. Medium in body and lingering smoke and malt. On tap at the brewery. Nose is big smoke and cedar, with bacon. Pour is brown with a white head. Flavors match up with tons of smoke, ash, cedar, and bacon. Very nice.
