Light brown. Thin bubbly head. Sweet and rummy. Chewy, sugary, chocolatey. Like most of their rum barrel stuff, just really rich and decadent. Not the best underlying beer for the treatment, maybe, but good. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 2, 2011
A: The beer pours dark brown in color with a finger of off-white head.
S: Definitely a bit boozy. Lots of rum, vanilla, and oak to go along with nice chocolate aromas. There’s a touch of coconut and a mild spice and dark fruit character.
T: The flavor lacks that ethanol character that the nose has which makes it much more enjoyable. Nice roast and chocolate notes along with rum, vanilla, and coconut. A touch of toffee and some cocoa powder and raisins.
M: Medium bodied with a medium, smooth carbonation.
O: The flavor was very nice, but the booze of the aroma was my only real knock on this. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Deep black pour, brown head. Loads of sweet rum, lactose, dark chocolate, coffee. Damn great taste here, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, coffee. Hell yes! BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Keg at Woodshop 6. Pours with a pitch black pour. with a small tan head. Aromas of bourbon (or oak), brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate, lactose and dark fruits. Flavors mimic the aroma. Muscavado, lactose, chocolate (bitter and milk), vanilla, rum, oak. Medium bubbles and mouthcoating. Very tasty. I know it is a completely different type of beer, but I might have enjoyed this more than Final Push. burg326 (5489) - Florida, USA - JUL 23, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2011 On tap at cigar city pours dark black with no head, and no lacing. Really good porter with tastes of chocolate, coffee, lactose and had a really good rum aroma and aftertaste that lingered on the palate.

On draft at CCB. Pours a dark brown with a big off-white head. Nose is rum, vanilla, raisins, malt, some chocolate, and a bit of fruit. Flavor is similar with the rum and raisins in the front, the chocolate, malt, and vague fruit in the mid, and some sweet raisins and a hint of booze in the finish. The rum runs over some of the lactose and milk qualities of the milk porter- more a rum barrel beer than a milk porter. Still very enjoyable on its own merit. All in all a winner from the barrel program. Not a hint that this beer might be over 6-7% ABV. 50belair (3663) - Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2011
On tap at CCB. Dark brown pour with a big off white head. Huge rum nose. All kinds of rum, booze, dark fruits, vanilla, oak, and chocolate malts. Surprisingly dry... dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - MAR 17, 2012
On draft at Cigar City Huna Day 2012. Another showing that was in your face rum. Big hints of chocolate, milk lactose and rum abound. Probably only one glass would be enough for me. LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - SEP 11, 2011

Appearance: Pours a viscous dark brown. No head on this draft pour.
Aroma: Sweet dark fruit, chocolaty malt and booze.
Taste. Rum raisin ice cream and tobacco. Spicy hops. Rich chocolaty malt, cocoa, and the perfect touch of booze and wood.
Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Noticeable, yet non intrusive carbonation.
Overall: A+. This was a main event caliber beer, that I enjoyed amongst many top contenders that day.
Draft at brewery christmas day Pours black with a little creamy khaki colored ring of a head. Nose is sweet milk, light roastiness, booze, and light spiciness from the barrel. Flavor is more sweetness, chalk and roasted malts with more of the rum barrel spice showing through than the nose finishes dry and some spiciness. Pretty nice variation of the Imperial Milk Porter.
