Sample from Nate at world of beer - tampa palms. Pours a deep brown with a small dark cream head. Aroma is boozy, whiskey, caramel. Flavor is strong booze, but it mixes well with the roasted malt flavor. Caramel sweetness, or burnt sugar is also noticed in there. The body is a good medium with a nice mouth feel. Over all, I always enjoy this one, whenever I have a chance madsberg (11776) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2011

Bottle. Trade from Hopscotch. Pours pitch black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is light smoke, vanilla, roasted malt, cocoa, ripe fruit, tobacco and has a light tone of lactose. The flavour is raisins, cocoa, sweet tobacco, roasted malt, vanilla and wood. It has a nice dry woody feeling. Very nice balance overall. Great! Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2011

Pours basically black with a good head leaving good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is lots of dark chocolate, some booze, some burnt toast and a good dosing of fruitiness (both yeast and hop driven)
The flavor is very chocolaty and fairly bitter & roasty. The beer shows it’s strength the alcohol and roast are really more dominant than the sweetness here, which is fine by me.... but I expected this to be far sweeter than it is.
And thats the story of my first ever Cigar City beer.

It pours dark chocolate chestnut with a dark tan head. The aroma is light sweet lactose easy in the nose. It has light and roasted malt flavors with small notes of the whiskey battels that settle easy in the nose. SudsMcDuff (8492) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2011
