Phenomenal stout. Easily in my top 5 of stouts. Wonderful smell, smooth taste without losing the boldness of a stout. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Bottle from CCB. WOW! Pours the color of death with a tan head. Nose is lactose, roasted malts, wood, vanilla, cognac, light vinous cognac, oreos, huge chocolate, and mild earth. Flavor follows: oreos, cognac, mild vinous notes, huge chocolate, and some lactose with wood and vanilla. There are not enough complimentary words. This beer was amazing. It’s one of those "Desert Island" beers. MeerkatTampa (23) - New Port Richey, Florida, USA - MAR 16, 2013
On tap at Hunahpu day. The cognac is up front and strong. Dark, super sweet, and thick. Minimal head. Very sticky when some spilled down the side of the cup. This is not a beer I’d want more than one of in a day, but I certainly wouldn’t mind one every day. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Bottle shared by Dave. Wow! Aroma of roast cocoa, chocolate milk, and chocolate cake. Pours thick and black with a medium dark brown head. Taste is sweet chocolate cake, roast cocoa, and heavy cream. Perfect blend of milk chocolate taste, roast coffee, and barrel booziness. This is an absolute delight. GandGKevin (934) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2012

Nearly a black pour, reddish tinged brown head. Aroma of cognac, some charred oak, roasted malt, cocoa powder and lactose. Sweet flavor, big bold barrel notes, hints of bitterness are nice. Stellar, just stellar. mlunger12 (645) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Bottle at RBWG. Nose full of sweet, cream, brown sugar, oak. This is the bomb, oak, vanilla, booze, more oak, plums, and cherries! Hell yes ! kimjongill (207) - - FEB 27, 2013

Appearance - BLACK, thick brown head, chocolate lacing
Aroma - Coffee, brownies, vanilla, wood, raisins
Taste - Fruit, molasses, mocha, vanilla, oak, nuts, liquor
Thank you Jordan for this exquisite elixir! This beer is almost chewy, full of brandy-soaked dark fruits and soft coffee undertones. You can taste cognac in every sip, but it’s so perfectly balanced... One of Cigar City’s best. There’s no doubt that this will age wonderfully.
