Poured from can into IPA glass. Pours a slightly hazy (with floaters) gold with white head. Head dissipates pretty quickly, but leaves a lot of lacing and a resilient thin layer. Lots of citrus on the nose. Some bitterness on palate, but mostly bright and balanced.

Big and juicy yet still light and easygoing, Invasion hits all the right notes for a delicious pale. Green, citric hops mesh with toasted biscuit malt, leading to a round, herbal middle and a lingering semisweet piney finish. Really, with pale ales like this out there, why are session IPAs a thing?

Fairly bitter lightly sweet flavor. Medium body, light creamy mouthfeel, fairly bitter finish. Very nice pale ale, really solid across the board.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2017 Color naranja, medianamente turbio, con capa de espuma de dos dedos de grosor (retención decente). Carbonatación media tirando a baja. Textura acuosa. Aroma cítrico que se huele a kilómetros, también lúpulo. Sabor muy cítrico, más sabroso que un zumo, sin amargor. Fácil de beber y bien hecha. Echo en falta algo de postgusto.

Another incredible staple from cigar city. What we have here is a brew that is super approachable for any yellow fizz loving beach goer, but also a beer loaded with hop citrus forward flavor and just very well balanced. Think of it as jai alai’s milder twin brother. If your not feelin’ jai alai’s top heavy 7.5 %- this is a fantastic alternative. Is there anything cigar city doesn’t do well?
