DATE: June 18, 2017... OCCASION: Father’s Day and a free dinner at the Draught House... GLASSWARE: pint... Golden bronze body, nice off-white head that laces nicely...mildly transparent with subtle effervescence... Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, bright punchy tropical fruits, with a beautiful malt backbone... for a pale ale, quite promising... lively, pleasant and balanced in its palate--smooth, bubbly, and lasting in its aftertaste... great lacing... lemon zest, mango, and pineapple are at the fore...a balancing act that makes a pale ale into an artform... as promised by others singing CC’s name, this is a beer I would love to have in my microfridge for all seasons... versatile, pairing well with steak and salad alike...

On keg at cardigan arms. Pleasant light malty, light herbal, light hoppy aroma, straw, caramel, mild citrus hop and orange peel. Well balanced, light carbonated and mildly bitter. A good solid american non hop bomb pale.

Pineapple / papaya aroma dominant, alongside floral hops on a malt core. The appearance was a golden amber color with a foamy head. Taste is a touch less juicy than the nose. A big malt presence, ripe apricot and mango. Medium body with a texture that is slightly oily. The carbonation is moderate
