Growler… Berliner Bash on the Bay 2013!… Hazy yellow pour with no head. The aroma doesn’t offer much – maybe some fruitiness, which I can only assume is plum, and a whisper of clove. Light-bodied and watery with moderate carbonation. The flavor is mostly bland, but clean and well-balanced. Tangy, but thin with almost no fruit element. Nearly phenol-free. Finishes crisp and refreshing. Growler courtesy of burg326! drowland (9161) - Georgia, USA - JUL 14, 2013
7/8/13. On tap at Engine 15 in Jacksonville, FL. Hazy golden orange pour with a small khaki head. Dark fruits, light candy sugar, pale malts, smooth muted yeast esters. Lingers bready and fruity. Tasty. jredmond (8770) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Draft at UES Pony Bar with Streets. Pours a light amber body with no head, light lacing. Aroma is sweet pears, apples, spice and wheat. Mouthfeel is light, nicely carbonated with notes of faint tart apples, spice, wheat, light malt and additional sweet fruit. Not a bad Belgian session ale. On tap at The Top in Gainesville. Poured in a snifter light yellow with small head. Aroma of wheat, some sourness, and light plum fruit. Smells slightly like a Berliner. The plums are present up front on the tongue, but fade into a dirty wheaty finish, very much like what I get (and don’t like) from Berliners. A bit of tartness on top of a light and effervescent mouthfeel. Meh. I could go without.

Tasted off draft at Kickback’s in Riverside, Jacksonville, FL. Was excited because of the brewer, but it was weak. Plum was good, Belgian flavor was off... sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Cigar City Italian Plum is another what must be CCB’s mass market session beer series. Light amber pour with scant head. Not much aroma. Taste of black plum complete with a little sour note. Sourness lingers on the palate. Italian Plum isn’t a bad session beer but is basicly a simple fruit flavor beer. DialSquare (5142) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2013

Hazy yellowish pour from a 32oz growler. White head. Very yeasty, malty, apple, hints of plums and bread. Interesting. dcschiller (2211) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Growler shared by Dak. Pours like a wit and smells like one two. Faint plums. Nothing wrong with this, but pretty unspectacular.
