Big thanks to fata2683 (and markwise) for this. Growler pours out amber – copper with off white head. The aroma has loads of chili peppers like a plate of sliced jalapenos that goes deep in depth. I also get a much lighter note of malts, roasted malts and a touch fruity esters. The taste is earthy and roasty with malts followed by modest amounts of chili meat and almost no chili heat. Nice mix of notes here where the aroma showed way more jalapeno than the flavor.

Growler… Beautiful, clear, deep copper ale with a small, fizzy, short-lived head. Smells more like smoky chipotle peppers than jalapeno – makes me crave an order of ballpark, arena or stadium nachos. Light to medium-bodied with a thin mouthfeel and light carbonation. The flavor is mostly bland with only a hint of jalapeno goodness, but there is some nice toffee malt here. Finishes malty, but watery with only a rumor of chili pepper warmth. Growler courtesy of biggsbowler!

Draft at the Cigar City Brewery tasting room. Pours a medium copper amber color with a foamed white head. Noticeable pepper in the aroma right away and even more so in the flavor. Pepper becomes more pronounced as the beer warms. Interesting one.

Clear amber/brown pour. Light smoke, light pepper notes, caramel malt. Flavor isnt spicy, very muted smoke and pepper notes. Not really amazing.

Growler shared at the District courtesy of biggsbowler. Clear amber pour with no head. Malty aromas with muted peppers in the background. Nondescript caramel malts with hints of very muted jalapenos. To be fair, I drank this after sampling all five of the Zhukov treatments from the Order of the Red Banner Feast. So needless to say my palate was a little blown out...

On draft at the brewery. Pours a clear red-amber with a small white head. Nose is malt, earth, and some spicy peppers. Flavor is similar to the nose- has a nice malty profile like an amber, some noticeable hops with mild jalapeno notes to it coming around the mid. Finish is some malt with jalapenos- jalapeno presence manifested as the pepper with the seeds and membrane removed and just a small amount of spice.

Gwoler from my sis pours an amber color with no head. Aromas of fresh cut peppers and a hint of malt. Good amber flavor through out wiith a hint of pepper taste. Peppers are more evident as the beer warms up, good beer and not overpowering pepper taste.
