Opaque black beer, tidy pale tan head. Slightly soft palate, dry. Tangy dark malt. A little smoke and a trace of roast. Subtle red berry fruits underneath. Somewhat bitter finish, semi dry. Not the most easy going of porters but tasty!
Draft. Brown color, brown head. Tasty roasted chocolate aroma and similar flavor. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co., London. Pours brown with a foamy head. Raw, deranged coffee in the aroma, with notes of roasted malts. Sweet with dark sugars, there is slight tang to the malts, more coffee roast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slightly oily on the finish, more roast, coffee, light sweetness. Good beer. Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 4, 2011
Malziger, deutlich getreidiger Antrunk. 8/11/11/13/13/12

12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks Dany), pours black with a small khaki head. Aroma of light chocolate, roast, mild espresso and a slight hop character Flavour is quite roasty with prominent espresso notes coming out on top, balanced slightly by some sweet chocolate notes, leaving a slightly hoppy bitter finish combined with a pronounced sweetness. Quite nice.
