750ml bottle thanks to Toby. Pours out a dark brown almost black topped with a small head. Nose is lots of barrel candy sweetness bourbon and vanilla. Taste is as the nose with lots of sweetness bourbon rich malts a little booze on the end. A tasting treat. rdixon77 (2767) - Georgia, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Thanks to drowland for the share!
Big rich barrel aged from CC. Pours red brown. The aroma hits with bourbon but gives way with caramel, dried fruit, burnt wood. The taste follows with a lot of woody bourbon burn and dark chocolate sweetness. Finished slightly acidic and sour. Rich mouthfeel. Ferris (15027) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 8, 2014
Bottle - Molasses, dark chocolate and a liquorice. Jet black with a thin brown head. Bourbon and molasses with some rich syrupy dark chocolate. Very big and rich, heavy mouthfeel. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - MAY 8, 2014
3/8/14. 750mL bottle thanks to burg326. Dark brown soda looking pour but with a small tan head. Huge, HUGE bourbon barrel aroma, lots of bourbon, some fudginess, caramel, vanilla - honestly hard to tell where barrel ends and beer begins - mostly barrel, but I sort of enjoy it. Okay flavor, lots of barrel again, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, fudge, very sweet, a dose of ash, and an almost lemony acidic tartness lingers in a way. Not bad. Tastes like Cigar City. tderoeck (9495) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 10, 2014

Clear dark red brown beer, no head. Aroma: lots of caramel, sugary, some spices, cinnamon, vanilla, more caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, watery impression, bitter hops, overripe red fruits, bit sugary, alcohol. Aftertaste: unpleasant bitterness, tannins, bit woody, grape peels, bit sourish.
65cl bottle, shared by BoBoChamp. Many thanks for all the beers shared today!
APPEARANCE: black beer, no foam.
NOSE: bourbon, alcohol, sweet, some dried fruits.
TASTE: bourbon, slightly oxidated, caramel, sweet, some wood, little too boozy for me in general. jackl (8029) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Bottle @ His Great Return Tasting. Cheers to Paulo for providing such a ’yet very expensive’ brew! The pour’s deep brown with a tiny tan head. Loads of roasty, ashy malt aromas. Burnt wood, cocoa powder. A bit of roasted coffee and burnt brown sugar. The taste is pretty robust, outsized. Big caramel and toffee. Vanilla sundae. Roasted grain, big earthy char. Full body, oily. Soft carbonation. Overall, solid, but nothing particularly distinctive or memorable. Decent. hopscotch (11051) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Bottle... This beer rocks!… Dark brown – nearly black – pour with a small, creamy, khaki head. Good retention. The bouquet furnishes a medley of fudge, brownies, raw white oak and bourbon. Full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor presents succulent toasted coconut and tangy bourbon. Finishes lightly acidic and quite warming. World class bottle of beer provided by ctipping! 75cl, no mention of ABV, new exclusive American brew Anno 2013, thx to Secret Santa!, complex Porter, roasted/woody and slightly alcoholic/fruity, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, small head, very good brew, yet very expensive!
