Bottle sample from alexsdad06. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted and produced excellent lacing. Medium to heavy roasted malt and cherry bourbon aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Heavy complex dark sweet flavor with a heavy complex sweet finish of long duration. Complex standout brew.

750 ml bottle shared with Tmoney99 and the MadTree crew. Pours a dark cola brown color with a thin beige film. The aroma and flavor have roasted malt, dark fruits, cherry, wood, light bourbon, the bourbon highlights the dark cherry character, good medium full body, smooth, solid beer even with a bit of age, dark chocolate comes through.

dense beige head. coffee coloured. aroma is vanilla, bourbon, malty, caramel. taste like aroma, fudge, lots of caramel, some roasted malts, lots of barrel character vanilla and bourbon, faint bitter aftertaste. dense mouthfeel, rather soft carbonation. massive bourbon aroma and taste, perhaps a bit too much hiding the baltic porter itself too much. bottle 75cl / 2013 vintage

Bottle share, thanks Glen. Brune fonce, col fin blanc-cass.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong roast, chocolate, wood, spice. Medium mouth, rich malt, dark chocolate, spice, roasty finish, light boozy finish, really nice.

Bottle: Thanks Bo: Chouffe glass: Creamy beige brown head. Near black body. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, wood, some butter, hints of manure, sweet tar and red fruit. Flavour of chocolate, bourbon, wood, some vanilla, some liquorice, hint of butterscotch and bitters. Aftertaste is liquorice, bourbon, some roast, vanilla, butterscotch and bitter. Low carbo, between watery and silky mouthfeel, close to full body. Delicious stuff!

Bottle. Deep black, zero light penetration -- a moonless sea. One inch of dense graham cracker colored foam sits atop. The nose is very bourbony, with lots of vanilla, butterscotch and toasty oak. I also get dark cherry syrup and dark fruits galore: raisins, dates, plums. A hint of green apple skin, too. Almost tangy. Smooth flavor! Lots of bourbon character, a little more biting and charred than the nose suggested. Smoke, toasted coconut, vanilla and caramel swirl before a smoky, bitter finish. Theres a touch of green apple here too, along with hints of licorice. Super oaky. Carbonation is light, just a soft tingle in an oily medium-full body. Lots of alcohol heat and matching numbness. Moderately bitter. Lingers on the palate for a long while. Good overall. I wish there was a bit more of the underlying beer, but this has nice barrel character.

Via trade with Panicaholic. The aroma is bourbon, chocolate, fruit. The appearance is deep black, light tan head. The flavor is bourbon, chocolate, fruit. Medium in body, a tad thin. The finish is bourbon, sweet, light pine. Decent. The bourbon overwhelms. Maybe needs a little time in the cellar. And I was a little surprised by the lack of body.

Bottle thanks to Luke. Pours a dark black color with a medium beige head. A big smoky chocolate ashy nose. The flavor is sugary sweet, ashy, licorice, bourbon. Hot. Awesome.
