Tasted during RBWG15 Grand Tasting. 750ml bottle. Very dark brown color. Little off-white head. Dots and bits of lace. Some good dark fruit: raisin, dark chocolate, mild to moderate coffee, moderate-plus sweetness, moderate bitter. Mild hint of oxidization, but it works great (usually I hate that flavor). Fun stuff to try. Ferris (16494) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 25, 2015

From notes. Tasted on 6/30/12 at the 1st Annual Chimipalooza, from a 750mL bottle, thanks to rustyham for sharing. Pours opaque cola brown witn an average tan head that leaves an average collar of lace. The nose is dark chocolate, molasses, and vanilla, with a touch of roasted bitterness. The flavor is very dry with the dark chocolate, molasses, and roasted bitterness, and just a hint of vanilla on the back of the palate. The body is full with just under average carbonation and a long lightly bitter dark chocolate finish. sudomorph (1189) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2014

Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, light boozey tease in the close.
Solid tangy fruit Baltic affair. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 26, 2014
Bottle at Cask cheers to Colin for this beaut! Pours black with a dense tan head which slowly disappears. Nose is very tarty and full of ripe berries - big raspberry, blueberry, nice dark chocolate with liquorice and ripe plum. Taste is very much tarty raspberry and black currant, milk chocolate, a little robust roast but nothing over the top. The tartiness is the showcase here and the big back bone this beer has really gives it balance. Not exactly a ’Baltic’ porter but a damn good imperial porter either way. Very tasty
