Everything works in this beer. You can smell the orange peel up front. Citrus balance is perfect and then the white oak is a perfect compliment on the back end. The best citrus type beer I've had. A lot going on for a pale ale merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - NOV 14, 2013
A: Golden Straw Hue, Passes Most Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing
S: Oranges, Tangerines, Orange Rind, Marmalade
T: Orange Rind, Wheat
M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Drying
Overall, pretty solid APA that is very session able and easy drinking...can’t get over the orange marmalade nose, so close to it. gschrade (1092) - Collinsville, Illinois, USA - JUL 18, 2016
I had this at the Brass Tap. Pours orangish yellow with thin white head. Taste oranges, citrus, grapefruit. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.

As a Florida Cracker there probably isn’t a better beer I could review first, except maybe CG’s Florida Cracker.
I’m fairly new to this reviewing of good beers and developing my palate, so take it for what it’s worth.
Appearance is super clear yellow gold with slight head. Aroma brings me back to youth peeling not quite fresh grapefruit and oranges from my backyard trees.
Nice tingle of citrus tones then just skirting on the border of hops to confuse with an IPA.
Judging the palate is still developing, but I feel that it tingles around the mouth for a nice light delayed subtly fizzled sensation.
Overall, my expectations were met, and brought me back nostalgia of my youth (If you read the history on the beer Lue Gim Gong was very important to the citrus industry in Florida, 100% Valencia!)
I would like to be more familiar with the "American Oak" taste mentioned in description to see where that plays in the taste.

Clear amber with a small head, Pine and orangey citrus hop aroma. Clean and dry. Hoppy without a lot of bitterness. Really yummy, We were too late to get a growler or more would have gone home with us.

On tap, pours hazy orange with white head. Candy orange like the wizard the day before but not as sweet and artificial. As it warms you get some spice and Asian herbs on top of the tangerine/orange zesting. Pretty tasty glad it came in a 11 oz glass and not the 5’s like most of the event. jjgmd (2162) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 31, 2015
On tap at Brass Tap, pours a clear orange pour with no appreciable head. Nose is fruity with long orange. Taste is orange, lime and sweet and fruity. Finish is sweet and fruity, and dry. Very drinkable. Quaff Score 8 / 10 oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Pours a golden orange color. Aromas of orange peel and citrus hops. Flavor of light malt and serious citrus. djd07 (14517) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 18, 2016
On tap at The Stein and Vine. Pours a cloudy gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus, mango, tangerine. Medium body, juicy, mango, dank, light bitterness, very good. MrHangover (4554) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 9, 2016
Draft @ Brewery. Pours a slightly unclear dark golden beer with a medium sized bright white head on top. Aroma of oranges, sweet citrus, touch of caramel. Flavor is mildly bitter, loads of citrus in there, hints of wood and has a sweeter aftertaste with more hints of vanilla and caramel alongside the citrus. Very nice.
